Tired of Bowser always kidnapping Peach, Mario went looking for a more permanent solution. After searching for a long time, he stumbled upon an old text buried deep within the palace of Nimbus. It talked about some kind of Box that could grant wishes. But after bringing this up to his friend, the now king Mallow, Mallow forbade Mario from searching for the Box saying it was evil and would twist its users wishes to its own desires. However, Mario went looking for it anyway because it had to be better than rescuing Peach again, didn’t it? This game starts off at the exact moment that Mario finds the Box. Highlights: - Deep Lore - Wide variety in levels - Some gimmicks but no funky gravity or upside-down levels - Vanilla and Chocolate - Heavy focus on platforming - Little to no shell tech - No cape levels - A couple water levels - Increasing difficulty curve. Starts at intermediate and difficulty increases as you advance. - Quality of life patches like frame rule, fast retry, and others mentioned in attached text file. |
