So, what in the Mushroom Kingdom is going on? Well, my dear SMW Centralians, allow me to explain.
As explained in my other thread, this Creativity Convention, we have our fellow user, Mr. Switchy and his gambling ring buddies on trial. Chester informed me of an illegal gambling ring that occurred over Halloween on our Discord server.
I, The Magician, am your Judge for this trial. Chester is the Prosecutor. System is the Attorney of the defendant, and Mr. Switchy himself is the Defendant.
Now, if you didn't take part in the gambling antics from Halloween. Well, you are in the clear. You have nothing to worry about and you find yourself on the Prosecutors side of things. Your role this C3, is to gather evidence to bring Mr. Switchy and his gambling buddies to justice. You'll find you have a blue progress bar as your rankset, and you will level up the more evidence you find for Chester.
However, if you did take part in the gambling antics. Well, well, well. You, alongside your accomplice, Mr. Switchy (or, "Mr. Witchy"), are on trial. You have a red progress bar for your rankset. Now, if you want to get off scott-free, I'd advise trying to find as much evidence as you can and hide it.
If you're unsure what you are, take a look at your rank in your profile. If you're a "Candy Scout", you're a Prosecutor. But if you're a "Miscreant Crook", you're a Defendant.
So, "what does evidence look like?" Well, I've been informed that there may be some Candy Wrappers hidden amongst the C3 posts. All you need to do, if you find one, is click on it! If you're a Prosecutor, you will have successfully found a piece of evidence to help convict Mr. Switchy. If you're a Defendant, you will successfully hidden that piece of evidence from the prosecution. It's as simple as that. You'll need to be looking to the left of the posts, in the user information sidebar. Finding evidence fills up your progress bar, and every time this fills you will level up! So, you can see how much others are contributing.
Now, I'm sure you will have realised by now that there will be quite a few more Prosecutors than Defendants. But don't worry, I have some magical mathematics up my sleeve to ensure this trial is fair. There's plenty of evidence to find, so do not fret!
Remember that evidence is hidden in the threads, so you are encouraged to browse the forum and leave feedback. However, how often you post will not directly influence when you find wrappers. So, if you had any plans to spam the forum to find evidence, think again!
If you need something explaining further, please ask me here in this thread. Otherwise, have fun and good luck!
