Welcome to the thread where the guy that likes the NES style goes crazy. So, without further ado, I present my latest (and debatably greatest) rom hacks! Nothing on Super Mario Bros. Advance 2, but there is New Super Mario Bros. 2 REMIX to fill in that gap!
First off, I have Hummer Super Mario World (HSMW/HummerSMW)! HummerSMW is meant to recreate the Famicom (NES) bootleg of Super Mario World. Not only does it have ported over graphics, but levels remade by hand only using the level data from the bootleg, watching videos, and playing the levels.
But it isn’t just the bootleg with a new engine! It comes with new features in tow, such as a new special world with brand new levels made just for the hack (Not finished. Saved for the final release), quality of life improvements, a new camera, and a ton more! Take a look:
But that’s not all. If you’d like the full 8-Bit experience, there’s a full HumMSU-1 Super Mario World (Or just Hummer Super Mario World MSU-1) just for you to try; coming with a whole new soundtrack based on the original, competently made by the Hummer Team bootleg enthusiast himself! PalaceSwitcher! (But if you, for whatever reason, want the original soundtrack, it’s there.)
“Well Mayro, what if I don’t care about a NES styled hack”? Well that’s okay, I've got New Super Mario Bros. 2 Remix as well! There's nothing more I can say about it other than, "It's meant to be NSMB2 but better, and not just a coin-fest". Only a world is done now because I've been working on my SMW hacks more.
It's cool to see more nsmb themed hacks am looking forward to seeing what you do with this

Thanks! I kinda put it off to the side for a while, but I'm glad people are still interested in the NSMB/NSMB2 hacking scene! (And you should, Newer Wii is a godly rom hack.)
I updated the thread to give it a bit more to look at without the need of downloading the games to what they have in store. Cheers!
