Hi everyone, here are some graphics from Mega Man 2 - Metal Man Stage I initially made for a personal project finally abandonned. Given the time I spent for them it would be a shame if they remain unreleased.
Contrary to the 2 similar submissions in the graphics section, this one uses layer 3 for the 'background', letting you the possibility to use layer 1 for the actual foreground and layer 2 for the moving presses.

Please note there is actually 2 files for the FG3 slot:
- one which lets you use all the guide lines at the cost of some tiles supposed to be around the Dr. Wily logo (see the gif);
- one which lets you use these tiles as well as horizontal, vertical and small circle line guides.

You will also need some custom blocks (no included in the zip) to make some tiles act like in the original level:
- for the press tiles;
- for the conveyor belt tiles.

Happy C3!
Interesting...I really like the idea of Layer 2 presses.

Check out my WIP romhack!
Amazing work on the Metal Man graphics! Why I do prefer Mega Man 3, Mega Man 11, Mega Man 10 and Mega Man 4 over Mega Man 2. I still enjoyed playing Mega Man 2!!
These are some nice themed graphics #smw{:TUP:}

LAYOUT FOOTER:
These work surprisingly well for a level, especially given they're from an NES game. I'm especially a fan of the screw/gear platforms.
Could make for a really fun factory level in the right hands, especially with those Layer 2 smashers! 8-Bit Mario from the NES bootleg would work wonderfully with this tileset as well.
Yo I think you forgot the .map16 file. I feel bad that I have to tell you so late, but yeah just consider me using it as to say it's a good rip! Mistakes happen.

Thank you for noticing that, I wonder how I could forget this file lol.
The zip have been updated and is now submitted to the graphic section (download link in the first post).
