Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so unless you apply this fix, plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.

this background appears on stage 6 of Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES) after batman passes some areas he climbs to the top of a building there this background appears
- in the .zip file there is a .asm file that is the gradient that accompanies the background
- remember that the gradient replaces the back area lap that in the sample level is in the vanilla color of level 105 of SMW
- I redid the background layer 2 graphic
- I added this graphic as a layer 3 option too

I'll have to reject this update due for the layer 3 version of the background not working as it should.
