super cool contest, im happy with the turnout and what everyone made. congrats to the top three!

wanted to give a special shoutout to the pikmin 2 port & paperdomo - def hope to see it submitted, and would love to see more pikmin songs done in the future. really lovely work

Shoutout to Segment in particular for making a MASSIVE improvement here. I never would've guessed the War Machine port was by him; I actually thought Hooded Edge made it until I saw that he voted. Very interested to hear what else he comes up with. Congrats to everyone else too!

I missed this earlier, so I'll respond now. The voice is missing because I ran out of space, and I couldn't find a suitable replacement for it within the time constraint (even less time for me since I had started the port after scrapping a different one, AND I didn't really have much time to do so in the first place). Since I couldn't really think of anything, the port ended up the way it did.

Thank you Idol, I will absolutely submit it (after I tweak the mixing based on feedback), and I've since started working on other Pikmin 1 & 2 ports.

Congratulations to the masters who won, I bow down to you and have much to learn!

I'm pretty happy with how this went, considering I also had a romhack race level to polish up at the same time. Thank you everyone who listened, everyone who voted, and especially everyone who gave feedback. I'm not done working on this song and I want to do justice to Crystal Chronicles before submitting its first port to the site.

By the way, if anyone has a crumhorn sample, or in lieu of that, a really bright and buzzy oboe sample, please send it my way.

Slowly inching my way back into kaizo life.

Even though I came in last, I really enjoyed the contest! ^^ It's cool to port a song in such a short time (even if I could only use a few of the 120h :/ ) so thanks for that DeppySlide. I hope that there will be more often such contests.

@icrawfish congratulations for the 10th place Yes you made a good choice by ported "Dearly Beloved" from the second part^^ I almost ported that one too, but I would never have made it in time, so it became the song from the 1st part.
