Rejecting this submission since this "simplified" version is a step down from the background already in the section.
The current submission consumes an absurd amount of tiles on map16 and uses more graphics space since they are all unique tiles and fill out the whole background to make it look like the source material, this background omits a good amount of the original background.
Optimization is nice but accuracy to source material is also very important.
