Hello people of SMW! I'm here for an ASM request... I've been wanting to do a hack regarding YI for a long time. And I would like to see a patch or UberASM coded that allows Mario to use Yoshi's tongue and trap certain enemies (with certain enemies, I speak like the ones in the original YI game). Note: The tongue can move up and to the side like in the YI game. I don't think it's very difficult to do. Note 2: Extra tiles will most likely be needed, so I'm using the 32x32 player patch. Please make it compatible with it... Then I'll pass you the file I use so you know which one to use
If this can help! but I don't know if it will be compatible with the 32x player patch... Besides that it is a bit complicated to insert...
I'd recommend getting some help on the discord. I had no idea what to do about a patch that was pretty hard that I wanted to use, and I almost gave up, but got some help with doing it step by step.
