Warning: This hack contains profanity.

Title: Super BS World
Length: 9 exits
Type: Misc: Troll
Tags: crude language, exploration, music, puzzle, vanilla

Like most kaizo players, I've always hated cryptic ghost houses. I saw no value to them in a hack. When I heard that CardboardCell likes them, it inspired me to make a hack of them. I'm intrigued by the specificity of his taste and the way he backs it up with the hacks he plays.

This hack contains malicious level design and might stop your progress unfairly. To make up for this, I uploaded a clear compilation to my YouTube channel. The video spoils all the "puzzles" and "secrets". I recommend playing it blind and using it if you get stuck. People that don't have the time to play through the hack might also enjoy watching it.

This isn't embedded because it's uncensored: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7raqEAscLA&ab_channel=NewPointless

What is the difficulty of this hack? What tools did I use? What is the design style of the obstacles? In the spirit of the hack, I'm not going to tell you. If this upsets you, this hack isn't for you.

Might have to keep this one in mind and come back to it.

Kinda feel like punishing myself.

Sorry, I forgot to post the link. Now it won't clutter the back of your mind.

Is this specifically kaizo?
Please pardon the eye.

Gotta say that I usually agree when it comes to Ghost House levels, I'm not usually a fan of the more tricky/puzzle designs usually found in them. That said, a hack created by somebody who also hates Ghost Houses with the intention of taking their traditional elements to their worst extreme sounds interesting at the very least.
I'm also someone who doesn't like cryptic ghost houses, and the take you have on them through this hack was actually really fun to play. I was questioning every little design decision the hack made (such as the Yellow Switch Palace being replayable), and as I got more familiar with how the hack plays, I learned to know what to expect in beating certain puzzles
such as the Deborah Cliffs one; knowing that the level used a lot of layer 2 made me look for a spot based on that criteria
. Ironically enough, I feel like the consistency of having one cryptic ghost house after the other made it easier for me to decipher the crypticness.

The final level with the
inventory system through doors
was really cute.

Thanks for playing, bebn. When I release a hack, I try to create something controversial but also fun. I never expect anyone to like my hacks, perhaps this one more than any other. I've been surprised that some of the other players really enjoyed this one.

The one with the inventory system could make a great hack all of its own with a little ASM, storytelling, and action.

Is it /really/ worse than kaizo?
I'm not ready for a kaizo, but this could be fun.
Please pardon the eye.

You will have to play and find out because the answer is a major spoiler.
