My first rom hack!
Short level,medium length castle

Unfortunately this hack is being rejected in its current form. However, with edits it may be accepted in the future. The following things should be changed in order for the work to be accepted:

- The level "spinning" is marked with a red dot, but the secret exit does not work and doesn't take the player anywhere.

- On/Off blocks can be used as collectibles, but it is advisable to make them solid blocks

- The troll level which softlocks the game must be removed

- Levels with Map 16 edits are not advisable. The hack should follow consistent visual language. For example - all pink blocks should have the same function. It is inconsistent when some kill you and some are fake, such as the ending to the castle level.

- Many obstacles in this hack are too precise to be considered "kaizo beginner" especially some levels in the star road. It is advisable to not use savestates to design obstacles or clear your own work. This way, you can get a true sense of what the player will experience themselves.

With these changes, the hack may be considered for acceptance. Please be aware that repeated submissions of the same work without significant changes may result in a section ban. I hope this rejection is not too discouraging. You've obviously got a lot of ambition, and just need more experience to make it all work.

My first rm hack (:

Short level in general

Contain secret exits

The main rejection reason is the on/off block graphics not working. I get that you put the first level in to kind of warn the player about that, but it's still confusing and kinda frustrating throughout the hack.

A couple other small points:

When I finished all the levels, the title screen read 45 exits. That number should be the same as what you put in for your exit count.

The difficulty spike around world 3/4 is actually pretty gnarly. I might consider nerfing some of the harder levels there and in the special/hard world. I know they're supposed to be harder, but it doesn't feel like the same hack anymore, if that makes sense.
