The Hummer Team bootleg/demake of Super Mario World for the NES has a (primitive but functional) level editor by Myself086 (can be gotten here) which means that game is open to having a Level Design Contest. With enough interest I'm thinking about organizing a (likely unofficial) contest and authorblues who has a love for this game has tentatively said he'd be one of the judges.
Since the learning the editor (and the game's physics) would be part of this thing, it's going to be a pretty low-stakes contest, if held.
