The Mean, Green, Mushroom Machine DEMO V0 by CruelKaizo310

File Name: The Mean, Green, Mushroom Machine DEMO V0
Submitted: by CruelKaizo310
Authors: CruelKaizo310
Demo: Yes
Featured: No
Length: 7 exit(s)
Type: Standard: Hard
Description: The Mean, Green, Mushroom Machine; a formidable opponent to the likes of our petty plumber Mario. Will the dubious Mushroom Machine emerge triumphant, or will Mario be slain to the DEMO of this hack by the few partially comic levels before him? We shall see...

This DEMO will show off a total of 8 levels (one of which not really being a level, but it still counts since it's on the overworld). Please don't take this hack all too seriously, as it is just a silly comedic Mario ROM-hack

You're definitely right this is pretty silly and some levels were pretty fun.

Honestly, there are parts of this that are closer to Kaizo than standard. The Outdoor Purple Fortress and Boiling Purple Koolaid, namely. And some levels are pretty trolly. The Meaning of Makjang, especially. You may want to reconsider your submission difficulty next time.

Anyway, the big issues here are the two secret exits. They break the overworld if you get them before beating the following level. This kinda prevents people from beating the game.

Level notes:
* Title Screen
** May want to consider replacing the default titlescreen at least a little bit.
* The Ugly Diagonal Level
** Level is filled with cutoff, but that might be the target aesthetic.
** Level dot is yellow, but has two exits.
** Overworld event for second exit breaks the overworld, because it invokes the next level's event. Look here to see it in action.
* The Outdoor Purple Fortress
** Entering the top half of this pipe kills you. Is this a troll? Or just broken?
* Boiling Purple Koolaid
** Level has a lot of slowdown.
** End of level is pretty flashy,in all the wrong ways.
* Quarterback Athletics
** Second exit breaks the overworld. Same sorta deal as the prior one. It's also a yellow dot.
* The Meaning of Makjang
** Some cutoff in this level. Not quite as aesthetic as the last level with cutoff.
** Tiles at the bottom of the screen are broken.
** Floating munchers are discouraged.
