I started porting sampled Squaresoft's songs last month. I like Squaresoft's music so I ported some songs which are not on SMWC.

Always a treat to hear ports of squaresoft songs, especially from some of the sorta niche ones like Romancing Saga and Rudra no Hihou. Great stuff!

Woah, nice! I noticed some of these in the section a few days ago, and they’re pretty impressive for a new porter (assuming these are your first ports). I’ll note that there’s a few differences, such as some missing legato commands and lack of PWM (though that second one is understandable, since current AMK can’t do that as far as I’m aware), and some of the songs seem to loop the whole thing when they’re meant to only loop part of the song (I mainly noticed this with the Romancing SaGa ports since I’m most familiar with those). Again, though, for your first published ports, they’re very well done, so good job!

Your newest port sounds nice and festive a little. Probably good for a ice world or star world.

Nice song selections, even if the results are familiar.
I'm quite familiar with Unknown Lands and Between Two Worlds and they're well done here too.
Four Noble Devils II is my favorite song from here, and it still sounds great here despite AMK
not having a built-in PWM function unlike the original sound driver.

I also feel like the vibrato speed on Rudra no Hihou is currently set faster than the source, so maybe
the values could be tuned down bit here for more accuracy, as the original soundtrack used slow vibrato.

Wow, a lot of threads this year with plenty of ports to listen to. I am unintelligent and dont know how to give useful feedback but they are all sound great to me! You should be proud of what you've accomplished.

Learning more about Touhou...

Nice job on porting the fanfare jingle from Final Fantasy Five. Fun fact: did you know that Final Fantasy Six also has this fanfare, but it goes unused in the final game.

I know I already commented, but I like the 3 new songs you added as well! FF6's town theme is really just super swell and fantastical, like getting swept away in a dream. I also really like the new Rudra no Hihou song, it's really dreamy as well, and speaking as someone who still needs to further familiarize himself with Ryuji Sasai's work, I admittedly wasn't aware he had such beautiful and emotional songs like this (shows how aware, I am, haha). Cool stuff!

Your port of "Kids Run Through the City" from Final Fantasy Six is on point. I love the effort put into this port and I think it would still make a decent town theme in a more story focused SMW Hack.
