Very nice selection of ports especially the Sonic Robo Blast.

You are challenged by Champion Daisy!

LAYOUT FOOTER:
best bird ever, love the bird, why would you put the bird in hell, ports are great too
hello bebn legg. your ports are very good. i like that you did alternate versions of asadtouch. i prefer the @6 lead version but also like the @2 one. though i note there is a distinct lack of pokemon songs :(

you should port a pokemon song just for me because you love me.

but joke aside overall, very good ports as always my friend :)
God I love how goofy the WarioWare songs sound with SMW instruments (as if they weren't goofy already lmao). My favorite has to be Cup Runneth Over, I can't get enough of it!
Fantastic work as always bebn! #smrpg{<3}
Happy Pukeko Saturday!! And of course, there's the ports. They go together like bread and butter.

Great stuff here Bebn, your magic never loses its touch! I'm already familiar with some of these, but the ones that are new to me are especially good. Surprising too, like the WarioWare ports, which are short and sweet! The bonus stuff will never not be amusing to listen to as well.

And I gotta say, the descending notes in Cup Runneth Over are so satisfying to hear, it's the cherry on top of all of this for me. #smrpg{mlem}

Sounds like something someone who secretly likes pukekos would say...

Fighter's theme is a great choice for SMW, it's also note to mention how close the scratches (esp. clavinets) sound with pitch modulation.

I definitly remember this rendition from one of the earlier VGM contests. It would be interesting to see more ports from former VGM guesses
since I discovered some really good tunes with each new season through it.
For a song called "Sad Touch", this is such an energetic song. Also really well done rendition of Balrog's theme. Also yeah, definetely, we don't have enough WARIO in your site, so thanks for making these silly garlic flavored ports, as well. Also, fantastic rendition of the "huehuhue" theme, I mean Stardust Speedway theme.

If I have to guess the song you like since Smash Ultimate is Balrog's theme, I guess?
Thank you for the kind words, everyone!

Funnily enough I also have an old port of A Sad Touch, ported by ear back then, but with samples.

I'd be curious to hear it. 👀 I can't get enough of that song.

Actually, it's the Player Select theme. But honestly, the Street Figher map in World of Light made me remember how good Street Fighter music is in general.

no ❤

If you go to the bathroom, pour milk into the sink, and yell "Mima" 20 times, a wild "bebn legg" will appear in front of you, explain the lore of pukekos, and drop you off in a strange place called "Gensokyo."

Jokes aside, these ports are amazing as usual, though that Genshin Impact one caught me off-guard. Fantastic stuff as always, bebn-chad!!!!

idk what a pukeko is, but the ports sound excellent, keep up the impressive job man #smw{:TUP:}

Love the ports, especially the updated Twinkle Star Sprites track.

woo, thanks for update my favorite song! #smw{:TUP:}
That's a nice collection of birds you got there!
Oh, and the music too. That's also nice.

Seriously though, i don't think i know any of these songs lol (at most i've heard one or the other in a SMW hack before), but i can tell they are very well made! (Which i also can't say much about because i know nothing about music porting lol). But just trust me when i say they are really good xD
I did enjoy listening to them!
And also enjoyed all the birds.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

Burning Loaf was telling me about Kuru Kuru Kururin like two days ago, which made me remember how much I love the series' music. So I slapped together another port in the past couple of days.

LISTEN TO IT HERE.

Despite it being such a happy and cutesy song, it was hell to port lol. Lots of tiny rests that were a nightmare to keep track of, plus a loop point that gave me a headache (which was admittedly of my own inattention), and tiny random pitchbends that were easier to just turn into vibrato (which I think sounds better anyway). I wouldn't be surprised if there's still a desync in there somewhere. I also was very indecisive about the instrumentation, so you get two versions! Still not sure about the bass, maybe it'll change before I submit to the section.

Enjoy~

More Kururin Paradise ports? Nice :D
This song has essentially been stuck in my head over the course of the past two days...

So getting to listen to more of it is a treat! You captured its catchy essence well. Sounds like it really was a pain to port, but I'd say your efforts paid off in the end. It's neat that there's more than one lead to choose from as well, I like when ports are branched out that way.

And now the Neo Land port by wagokoro_ gets to have a friend, truly a happy ending!
