Uɴᴘᴇʀɪsʜᴀʙʟᴇ - Winter 2023

Uɴᴘᴇʀɪsʜᴀʙʟᴇ is a 2D platformer (not super mario™)). It is a online/local multiplayer game too (see it's not super mario™).
In this game you play as Alex (the girl with a black t-shirt) (she does in fact run pretty fast)
It is still in early prototype phase but here are some screenshots and videos

We will soon release Uɴᴘᴇʀɪsʜᴀʙʟᴇ Versus Edition, which will only include the multiplayer aspects of the game (as seen in the first video).
The singleplayer content is planned for the full game release.

We also have a demo of a version from like 10 months ago that you can test on itch.io (link) (disclaimer: this demo is REALLY old and the game doesnt look like this anymore obviously).

Ooooh, this is really cool! I like the mix of 2D and 3D going on, it reminds me of early PlayStation games (without just being nostalgia bait, of course).

I also really like the sense of momentum the player has. I'm hoping to see some larger levels that really take advantage of that!

Hey Ralshi02. I did check your trailer. That character is basically a hybrid of Nintendo character and a fan-game, Nintendo characters being besides Mario, Donkey Kong with the barrels, Mega Man with the sliding technique, Fox with the shielding?, Ryu Hayabusa thanks to the wall-jumping technique and Sonic with the jumping techinque similar to the GBA technique and Lilac, because the speed is similar to hers.
A very fascinating fangame you have.

Wow this looks cool. The environment is especially nice since I'm a sucker for 3D objects in 2D space. Really hope this grabs some attention.

These graphics really remind you of a 3D game (can I call this a 2.5D game?), and many people like to make other games in their own engine, here at SMW Central.

Learning more about Touhou...

I see a lot of promise for this indie game, especially with it's seemingly mixed bits of Sonic and DKC styled gameplay.

Both versions of this honestly look so cool! Even before getting to the gameplay, I'm already épaté by how amazing the UI looks. The fluidity of all the elements, and the geometric theme you have going on are great! I love the music as well, it fits so well!

The level aesthetics are phenomenal too, especially in the newer version. The use of parallax in the background looks so good.

And finally, I love the character designs. Like many others, I absolutely love the one-eyed cat.

Super excited to see where this goes!

Silly Eyecats, don't you know the number [[#1RATED]] rule of Narrativium? The Hero always wins!

This looks pretty heckin' cute! The character movement in general looks pretty good already, and I especially like that little spin when jumping on things. It looks incredibly satisfying to do!

I will say that the large feet of the player character look a little goofy to me, but I'm guessing this was done intentionally to better convey motion when running super fast, and it's not toooo bad. If nothing else, it vaguely reminds me of Sonic!

Well, talking about this creature, the legs look like Tails in Sonic 2, and what a beautiful cat's eye, or whatever that is.

wow, really nice work! i'm really interested to see how the multiplayer mode feels to play. i love that you guys have put together such a smooth-looking game with only 3 people. The physics looks super clean, which to me is the most important part. great work!

Wow, this is really cool! I don't know a ton of the stuff that goes into indie game development, so it's all impressive to me. I especially like the sprite work, and all the different game modes seem pretty cool. Nice work!
