Summer 2023 C3 Spotlight Nominations - Summer 2023

It is time for Spotlight Nominations! You can nominate any threads to be featured in at the top of the site while C3 is ongoing (so long tips, just remember to save Map16) but be sure to follow these few guidelines:

Don't nominate your own thread, unless it is really being strongly ignored!
Explain why a thread you're nominating is worthy of the spotlight!
Try and nominate underappreciated threads for how good they are!
Don't go overboard and keep your nominations limited to just a few choices!
Help us out and provide a link directly to the thread--it helps us get them added to the Spotlight faster.

This is a hack that has been hyped since it's annoucement, and it has just been released.

I like seeing the non-SMW ROM hacks, so I'm gonna nominate JP32's Solstice hack, w7n's Celeste-styled SMB1 hack, and King Mayro's Pokemon Yellow hack plus SMB1/CD-styled hack.

Also gonna add DoktorGroove's Super BanzaiChuck World as I really like his use of the tutorial segments in his levels.

It's a remake of a very popular Mario Flash game.

That "AAT/A3MT" Fortress Boss I showed off last C3 is finished. (Daizo Dee Von)
- I really like Daizo's style and his imagination about the boss is also fantastic. He showed his imagination with this video.
A Super Mario Adventure (Gamma V)
- Gamma's aesthetic and reflection of themes is very successful and unique. I've never been bored in any of Gamma's hacks and I probably won't be bored again.
Anna's Treasure Trove - Showcase Thread (New video added!) (Eevee)
- As with the Sicari, great design and great details. Aesthetics are truly excellent. I think it will be a very solid and iconic hack.

Now that I've started working, I won't be able to be as active as before. This is really very sad and depressing for me.

While, I am not a fan of Kaizo SMW Romhacks that much. Gambol 1 was pretty fun to play despite it being hard. Now, I am really exicted for Gambol 2! Since, Gambol has something unique to it that made me love Kaizo, a little bit more. Despite me not enjoying the genre. So, that's why Gambol 2 needs to nominated for making me enjoy Kaizo SMW Romhacks a little more!

The effort will be rewarded.

Really cool hack and really cool use of the ideas and unique things of SMW GBA!

Def needed to consult the clear video for some of the more obscure stuff, and it's definitely Kaizo at parts and pretty hard, but lots of fun!
