Happy Halloween and have a treat without a trick!
Has anyone ever noticed the "New" series gets redundant and over saturated?
Well by the idea I had in early 2013 while playing "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" comes this hack idea I have been putting off due to constraints and limitations SMW can handle.
The story is not at all complicated but a simple Bowser, or King Koopa, stole a powerful star and unleased enemies all around New Dinosaur Land/Mushroom Kingdom, causing new discoveries and secrets everywhere while saving the Yoshi's and the Princess Toadstool, or Peach.
I focused on redesigning Koopa Troopas, giving them the Yellow Palette treatment over the vanilla orange look. Then I gave the Yoshi's colored shoes, added more palettes through the animation tool in Lunar Magic, one thing lead to another and then gave every enemy a new look making the game pop out more while playing and a better look on a classic CRT, something for the nostalgia fans. All new colors, gfx, and map design are done by yours truly.
With the help and permission from MM102 I redesigned Mario and Luigi's s look to better suit custom Powerups.
Level design is going to have a new look too, so the levels posted are not final.
Also the points and timer are removed by the DKCR Status Bar due to lack of usage and priority.
I am looking for help who would be interested in fixing up some minor glitches and graphical errors. So, the release is clean.

I thought I would give SMW hacking another shot and this has became my current result.
