Ever wanted to fool around with a war tank? Now you can! (in smw)
You can shoot with your cannon, generating an explosive shot that destroys everything it touches! With the fire flower, you have up to 3 cannon shots at same time. You can also double jump to compensate for the heavier physics.

SUPER MARIO WORLD PLUS


A work in progress hack wich is you good ol' Super Mario World but cooler.
You can switch between Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach, each player with their own unique abilities (as well as some extra stuff from sma2 like the cutscenes!!!!) Sadly, i couldn't get a demo finished for C3 right now, but i'll try to get a playable version before C3 ends.

Ever since this video got released, i changed a few things of it. Peach can't super jump anymore, each character can has their own name displayed on the status bar and there's a few more powerups to play with! (5 to be exact, and you will use those properly when i make the extra stages)

A work in progress SMB1 styled hack. Using beta smw elements found in the gigaleak (as well as my gfx and microscopic asm abilities), this hack tries to make a lost levels-ish gameplay with cool gfx and other stuff.
There's only one level """finished""" but here's a few screenshots of the one level i have (ignore the status bar for now, i't's not finished yet)

That war tank is a rather interesting sprite (assuming that is what it is, right?). How much of SMW can be beaten with it, though?

Also, I hope the player can't accidentally hurt himself with one of the tank's shots.

the tank straight up replaces mario and luckily, the cannon explosions cannot harm him
you should be able to beat the entire game with it since the cannon can destroy everything on the screen and you can double jump

SUPER MARIO WORLD + (early release)

Hello!!!! I could finally make a more or less playable version of Super Mario World+!

This version of Super Mario World aims to make a much better version of the regular game, adding several new additions from it's gameboy advance counterpart as well as several other improvements of it's own.

HOW EACH CHARACTER WORKS:

LUIGI:
-Has floaty physics
-Has straight fireballs

TOAD:
-Has his super jump from SMB2, hold down for a bit to activate it!
-Can't use the cape (will be able to use leaf and tanooki though!)

PEACH:
-Can float for a few seconds, just hold A or B midair!
-Just like Toad, can't use the cape but can use leaf and tanooki

Switch between them in the overworld by pressing L or R

new stuff that's already in the game: Show/Hide

-Four unique characters that you can choose of! Just press L or R in the overworld
-New and improved graphics
-A few bug fixes

-Add a few things to the title screen as well as a fix for the title scroll

MARIO ALL-STARS STYLED HACK

With a lot of inspiration from All-Star Attack and a few other SMAS styled hacks, this hack has most of the new stuff featured in SMW+ (like the new cast!), but with it's own unique touch. Maybe i could add Wario too if people ask for him???

The war tank gives me huge "hidden Laser Suit in Super Mario World" vibes. Good stuff!

Also nice idea porting all the SMB2 abilities to SMW. Probably not entirely unheard of, but still should be fun to play through!

That SMAS hack looks interesting, although I prefer a more classy approach I did with my old SMB3 styled hack, this doesn't look bad at all. Definitely reminds me of Koyuki's SMB3X & SMB1X. I wonder how Peach and Toad are gonna look like.

I'm very interested in where you're taking your SMAS-styled hack - using those graphics as the base mixed with elements from other games like SMW and YI feel really charming to my eyes. Not much has been shown so far, but I already like what's been showed.

The other stuff you've showcased look pretty good also. That SMB1-styled hack is especially interesting!
