Foxx BGG World - KSD Edition update & BGN Beginner version

Super Mario WorldKaizo/PitGraphicsFull Release

Hi guys,

last C3, I've presented my first hack: Foxx BGG World. After the hack was released some months ago, I was still pretty happy with the setups and the general flow. But after looking at the hack more detailed on the visual side, I was surprised how many default graphics of the great RHR baserom I have used. So I decided to give the hack a complete visual update, removing all the default graphics and also adding a lot of effects for fore- & background. And of course, as we are still in the board game theme, I've named the update "KSD-Edition", meaning "Kickstarter Deluxe Edition" - named after the huge crowd founding platform, where a lot of board games are available with special Kickstarter editions with more unique and more qualitative components, which is kind of like the same like what I did to the hack, as all setups remain nealry 100% the same. The update took me about 6-8 weeks in total. I'm pretty happy to have "divided" the hack creation process in two parts (setups & visual), as doing all this visual stuff in the first development cycle maybe would have killed my motivation finishing the hack. Maybe the update will motivate some people playing the hack again - or maybe want to participate on the hot WR race at speedrun.com currently between Aclais and neidoodle :)

Additionally, I was inspired in the meantime by the awesome hack "Nuatepra" of Aclais and ocked to create a Beginner version of my Foxx hack. Foxx BGG World was aimed to be a Beginner hack at first, but ended up being to difficult for beginners, so I've submitted it as a intermediate version. Now after the huge visual update, I created a real Beginner version named "Foxx BGN World. BGN stands for "Board game noob" in comparision to "Board game geek" in BGG, so as you are still a Kaizo beginner, you need to play the noob version first before becoming a Geek ;) Setups are a lot easier now, especially nearly all regrabs have been removed. Don't play this hack as your first Kaizo hack I would suggest, it should be around mid beginner (a lot of platforming with chocolate mechanics and a good flow).

And now, here you have some comparision GIFs to better see what exactly has changed within the levels.

And lastly the release notes of the KSD update:
--- KSD Edition Update v2.0 ---
TLDR;
- Nearly all default graphics for muncher, sprite-killers etc. have been replaced
- A lot of backgrounds have been reworked, some with HDMA or Layer3 effects
- A lot of sprite have been "fox-ified" ;)
- Some color palettes have been reworked
- Some default foreground graphics have been replaced
- Level "Dice Forge" (2nd secret exit) has complete new graphics
- A few setups have been changed marginal, but always to be easier, meaining all runs on speedrun.com remain valid
