idk about PS2, but you need an old PS1, an adapter, any non-burned american CD, and a spring to play Japanese PS1 games. you put the adapter into the back and put the spring inside to keep it open, then you put in a CD and start it, and when it starts to load you switch to the Japanese game really quick. idk if its translated or not, but it works.

How long do you think it'll be before a good emulator and game are out? I've also heard that they might have a japanese release somtime soon, but its not confirmed anywhere.

Edit: I mean american release

I think Action Replay has a freeloader to play games from other countries... Not sure though.

Freeloader allows you to play any region game on your system.
