Finding and gathering some technical and track information regarding the initial post of 16 lost SPCs:
0) Pachinko Fan 2 - Starting a Game
- As with the original Pachinko Fan, the sequel manages to get even better for it's soundtrack with new thematic variants and percussive influences, arguably some of Miyamoto's greatest work alongside Ganso Pachinko Ou, very prolific if not the most throughout the SFC era.
1) How to Chiptune - Theme Song
- If you've wanted to write and compose chiptune music within the past few years, this tune will likely become familiar which gets featured as an introductory demo tune in a series of tutorials from multi-system chiptune trackers up to plugins that support the
very sound chip we're hearing right now. The original solely used samples from Super Mario World which translates over seamlessly to AddmusicK as a result.
2) Viuele - Mushroom Jam
- Some good old jamming tracker music designed around the Super Mario World sample set, possibly running for athletic and exciting levels.
3) Alien Vs Predator - Space Port
- An old school licensed classic of it's time, this variant has been ported directly from the SNES port in terms of instrument selection and overall execution.
4) Nekketsu Tairiku Burning Heroes - Ship
- The ships imply to have a loads of sales if this is used as the background music.. Burning Heroes's soundtrack is somewhat a spiritual successor to Brain Lord in composition which improvises any new instruments likely to be sampled from the Akai S1000/S1100 factory disks.
5) ComSensten - Oil Industries
- In an unexpected event, here's an original tune I had written years ago which was a soundtrack idea that simulated on the concepts of Mega Man 7, in this case pastiching Junk Man's theme with it's timed breakpoints and scaling arpeggios well as other lead harmonics present in the new industries of production.
6) Jack 'n' Hat - The Spike Factory
- This game stands high as one of the my favorite platformers I've jumped as part of obtaining the latest samples from our Steam library, a sort of hybrid platformer with long ranges and course layout reminiscent of programmable builders and SMW hacks, with an excellent soundtrack accompanied by both chiptune pulse waves and 16-bit sampled sound design that I have to recommend in it's entirety.
7) Retro Revengers - Boss Rush
- A throwback platformer from Japan, taking inspiration from a wide variety of properties into one game and a final boss rush as heard in this port.
8) Pachi-Slot Love Story - Parlors 3 (Nagoya Castle)
- From all of the SFC pachinko titles played, this one is certainly interesting in the fact that is gradually builds a convincing storyline and dramatic tension up to the seventh boss at the near ending, with dialogue and tasks relegated to buy specific items from shops set within the various prefectures of Chubu using the coins obtained through slot machines in-game.
9) Dark Kingdom - Field
- Another bizzare RPG title from Telenet Japan with new aliases seemingly unique to this release. This soundtrack uses a series of noticable four ascendant notes as it's main leitmotiv which have been copiously plastered to more than half of locations in-game.
A) Super Black Bass 3 - Title
- Smooth and relaxing piece at the initial opening title of a dawning sunset background.
B) Legend - Legend
- A legendary theme from the medieval action title known as Legend, whose have still survived to this very day to be playable on Steam.
C) Kidou Senshi Gundam F91: Formula Senki 0122 - Among Good Friends
- Nice meeting, possibly one of the only instances of the term "Among" being used in the SFC library.
D) Isozuri Ritou Gen - Menus
- Continuing with fresh fishing titles, taking place at the menus leading to Izu Islands.
E) Romancing Saga 3 - Podorui
- A timeless classic that has been covered for decades at it's hear, with the third installation having a number of soft spots like these outside of battles and story cutscenes.
F) Super Jinsei Game - Goodbye
The game of life is coming closer to an end with each day passing..
Expect the music to be soon available on the SMW Music Section within the next few days once the data is compatible at the latest versions.
We'll see at the next C3 on summer!
