Oh hell no!! We've actually done 15 years of this crap!!
Brief Tourney overview for the new people: Nominate your favorite music of any type (pending rules below), then we as a community vote on our favorite tracks. It will start with a preliminary round to thin out the track count, then afterwards will be in the bracket format. That's all there is to it!
Nomination Rules:
The nomination period will end on Saturday, 5/24, 4:00 PM EST. The tourney itself will begin shortly after. Have fun everybody, and a merry I Hope I Win to you!

Nomination Rules:
- You can nominate up to three songs total.
- You can only nominate one song per artist, and only one song per album/soundtrack. Artists cannot have more than three total nominations.
- Feature credits are not included in the artist total, and remixes are allowed; the remixer is considered the primary artist in that case.
- Each nomination must have a working video link. YouTube, Soundcloud, and Bandcamp are the preferred sites to use.
- For Youtube, you can use this site to see if your video is blocked in any countries.
- Please format nominations as [Artist – Song]. This applies to soundtracks as well; please list the actual composer instead of just the video game/movie/etc.
- While I am not going to ban joke nominations, please use some restraint and don't make your entire nominations a shitpost.
- You are not allowed to submit any songs that have made the SMWC Music Tourney Hall of Fame™, which consists of the Top 4 of every tourney. However, you ARE allowed to submit artists from it.
