Like I stated in my C3 thread, I've created 32x32 blocks (with help from someone else). The package currently contains a SMB3 Treasure Chest, a giant POW and a giant coin.

The 32x32 P-switch:

SMB3 32x32 Treasure Chest:

It currently spawns a Mushroom, but you can change that.

32x32 coin should be pretty obvious. It gives around 50 coins.

What I plan to create more:

· 32x32 SMB3 Coin Block (Reasonable)
· 32x32 SMB3 Brick Block (Reasonable)

· 32x32 Note Block (Sounds like lots of work)

If you find any bugs, please report to me so I can fix it. Feel free to give me ideas (READ: Ideas, not request. I never said I will do all of them)

The C3 forum isn't available anymore, probably ended.

As for some ideas... you could make a 32×32 Note Block. That'd compliment large level themes (SMB3, W4) well.

On that note, large ? blocks would be nice, but that seems like it'd be too much work.

This is awesome and some of this will come in handy in my new hack. I've seen some 32x32 blocks in a hack that I played recently but I don't remember the name of it. Thanks a lot for this. I look forward to seeing more!

This was one of my favourite C3 releases. Will look forward to messing around with them in the future!

What about a giant throw block? I know that would be really wierd, but it would be kind of cool to carry something giant around and throw it off tiny enemies. I'm just thinking that if Mario actually grabbed onto the bottom corner and not the middle of the block, it would look alright. I'm sure with a lot of ASM you could even create a power-up to pick up giant blocks like super stength.

Actually, that would fit well with that LoZ hack that's in the works.

I was actually making an ice level with ice blocks that break when hit with fire and some that reveal coins, and I though those could work in 32×32 form. They're somewhat common in ice levels, but you can never melt them. The one with a coin in it could spawn the 32×32 coin (which should be tucked away in a corner that's hard to get to).

It doesn't sound like TOO much work... just make the brick block break when hit by fire. Of course, you'd need to do those first... so that's if you feel like doing more after you're done with that.
Yeah, that's kind of what I had in mind when thinking about it. But the wierd thing would be when it breaks. How would you reanimate it? I would assume it would be constructed of four tiles of it's type? It would look wierd if it broke like it was a 2x2 set of throw blocks... But yeah, I would assume it should be possible to make it so only big Mario could pick it up.

I honestly wish I had the time and patience to learn ASM because the posabilities are almost limitless...
