Helpful Diagrams

It's not that confusing, at least to me. It's based on diagrams like this. Alternatively, think of a ruler and the way the line lengths represent the fractions.

I figured I might as well drop this here.

Alternative missing water piece tile:

Since there is no tile that appears to correctly connect the path, when using tile 32, it works smoothly and perfectlly. I've saw this on SMWCP2. So give credit to the author who first discovered this.

Paths are relative, not absolute. You can put a 3A on top of the 2A and it won't adversely affect anything. I don't think 3A was even used anywhere. Was it?

Pretty sure it was actually used over the waterfall that comes before the curve that goes to a star tile after beating Soda Lake.
Well in case the users can't find the right tile for it or are a noob.

Speed displacement graph:

I'm gunna up the Y-scale of this, its way too flat (so this is a preview). Feel free to update it.

X-axis = the speed value for $7E007B and $7E007D
Y-axis = how much mario is moved in pixels per frame

So basically, what is happening is that the line is 2 pixels thick on x-values not divisible by #$10, this is because the position doesn't get added/subtracted by the same value each frame. Thus representing the possible Y-value range for inputting the speed value.

Do you really need a graph for that though? Anyone can ignore the second digit of the number. Should also be mentioned that sprites and extended sprites use the same unit of measurement (px/16) for their X/Y speeds.

On the instrument list, I notice that sample number #$29 is not called "power set", its more like "Electric snare"
Give thanks to RPG hacker for working on Asar.
Most of the instruments have wrong names anyway, and Power Set makes a bit more sense since the "power" percussion's snare from GM actually sounds a lot like @29.

... still, I think that image needs to be updated with the correct names. I made an edit in Paint time ago but I lost the image.

So @4 is not a Cello after all? That was the one that bugged me the most, Pilotwing Cello is more accurate than SMW Cello. (Even though Pilotwings was released BEFORE SMW) Also, @6 doesn't sound like a Trumpet at all. More like an Organ.

None of the instruments are actually assigned names, so what actual instruments they correspond to are just based on interpretation.

(also smw was definitely released before pilotwings)

UPDATE for bitwise commands:

It has smaller dimensions, so it should be smaller in size, please replace the old one with this. Thanks

Sprite OAM format:

Give thanks to RPG hacker for working on Asar.
Does this really need a diagram?
Really, all you need to know is that it's a table in the format of X,Y,tile, properties starting at $0200 with 128 slots.
Also, the diagram is wrong, as the low OAM table ends before $0400. That said, if you wanna do an OAM table, it would be neat to also have the high table in it.

But basically, all the info you need can be found in the RAM address to $7E0200 and $7E0420

(Please ignore the mistake that I forgot to count 0 at the top left bits.)

Just a small nitpick I noticed with the subscreen diagram. It labels sprite properties as "YCPPCCCT" instead of YXPPCCCT (here's a fixed one).
