Since I haven't seen anything similar, I guess this should help people when configuring new OW X and Y coordinates on custom blocks/sprites/whatever.

I ended up missing this post but it has been added under ASM.
Can someone host this image on the media.smwcentral.net and I can update the RAM map on $94-$97 and $7E-$81 about Mario's position?


I really don't want to link to my file bin from the RAM map as I could run out of space and had to delete it.

How exactly is this useful? also this isn't exactly the right place or way to ask for something to be hosted. Possibly adding an explanation might be helpful here since this doesn't exactly seem like it related to mario's X or Y position within a level/screen.

Seems like it's just showing Mario's actual position relative to his graphics in each of his forms. Most people wouldn't expect small Mario's position to be so much higher up than it appears.

That said, some improvements could probably be:
- Indication of his hitbox area (for figuring out how many pixels from his position his hitbox actually is)
- Numerical information (e.g. how many pixels from Mario's feet, and how many pixels from his hitbox)

It could also probably be a bit smaller since over 1000 pixels wide is pretty big.

More specifically, it's good if we have an image for both, sprite and block interaction.


I made this a months ago, after few friends asked for XY Position (Level, not screen). They found this effective. Also, I'm planning to post for Screen too.
