Yeah... my latest hack :D
Kinda like a SMB or SMB:LL type of SMW hack just with a more variety of enemies/blocks. I changed the physics to make it feel a bit like SMB and all worlds contain 3 mains levels and 1 castle with a bowser to defeat by making him fall into the pit of lava.

Story:
Same old stuff.. Bowser kidnaps the princess(again). But this time he takes also 7 Yoshi eggs and each yoshi egg is being held in a castle of each world!

Screens:

My name obviously...

Title screen WOOT!

Worlds

More worlds..

1-1 good old SMB style block set :D

3-3 falling stars!

3-1 omg it's hammer time!

4-1 damn those red piranhas and lakitu's ><"

1-4 damn up to bowsers castle already >_>*

5-2 flying fish!

6-2 Pipe underground which is full with plants =O

7-3 Does size matter?

4-2 underground metools!

SMB:ML I might not be submitting it to the database unfortunatley. If you really want to play it, try sending me a PM and we can discuss.
Wow. This hack looks great. SMB1 tileset... custom sprites... good-looking overworld... this gonna be a good hack!

Fierce Deity is cool.
Workin' in OW request...
Currently attendind Scape Santa, but I don't know what to do...

This image caught my eye. I've never seen such a tileset, with all these stars. o_o
Very well done.

The rest looks really nice too, I hope to see more soon. ;)
I kept forgetting that that was SMW. It's that good.
Also, change the way mario holds stuff to on top of him like in smb2.

Who knows what post number this is?
I wanna try world 7, it looks intense!
also, the falling stars look awesome :D
That looks very interesting. :) By the way, where'd you get the metool sprite? I might need it for a future hack.
Look's very nice. My only complaint is almost all of their names end with "plains"
This looks awesome. Is it almost done? I'm asking since one of the screens is from world 7...
but anyways, i advise NOT using Icegooms redrawn OW. it's EXTREMELY out of place with everything else, especially the Mario sprite.
EDIT: Watched the video. The level design is awesome, but one thing: Why does the BG scroll with the FG? It annoyed the shit outta me! Change the scroll rate, please.

@Jimmy52905 - Metool was just a simple edit I made with the snifit sprite made from Mikeyk.

@ Vaporeon - Yes it is almost done, only about 5 or so levels to create and a few bug fixes. Yeah i'll be changing the overworld sooner or later, it does kinda look odd with the SMB1 graphics..
Scroll rate vert/horz in all levels is set to constant btw, reason is that it fits more like the original SMB1 on NES.

so far judging from what I seen.this hack almost minmics SMB1,all you need is the smb1 screen scrolling sprite from the STARSW.zip package(which is a bunch of sprites made by a few japanese hacker for everybody to use) you might want to ask around and even ask a few Moderators for the STARSW.zip package.

Was going to put that in, but it seems to odd for some of my levels as i got mazes that Mario/Luigi needs to go back and forth.

To be fair, you can take the NSMB route and put the SMBScroll sprite in all levels BUT those you're talking about. Hell, if you want, you can make a separate "Challenge Edition" of SMBML that comes packed with the original.

On another note, I can't help but wonder what the purple Koopas and Spinies are.

About that idea, sounds good but I was thinking of just making it with the original scroll for some reason.

The pink enemies are just the same type of enemy but is just harder then the original. They are seen later as the game get harder through out the worlds.

pink koopa follows mario around.
pink spinny is faster and can be used as a kickable shell when flipped.
pink piranha spits fireballs when it's out of the pipe.
pink cheep cheep follows mario underwater.
etc..

The Metool is the Fire Snifit (IIRC) sprite edited to not move at all.

MrDeePay is correct. All i did was edit flame snifits routine a bit and adjust where it shoots fireballs to act like a metool from many megaman games. There are a few other sprites in the hack that represent some enemies from megaman that you will see for yorself when you play it.

Do you need beta testers for this, Mortred? I'd gladly volunteer to! :)
Also, the purple stems for the screen Yami Mario quoted looks kinda bad. I dont know what to say about the red coins... they ont annoy me, but they look a little odd red.
You're doing an Extremely good job keeping this in the SMAS SMB Realm. Keep it up!
I would advise, with the brick blocks in that same picture, making them blue, just like the underground levels in SMB.
