I have a quick question about the SMB3 GFX patch. What do I do about all the extra tiles, the ones that are in GFX00 rather than GFX32? The patch doesn't include a GFX00...am I supposed to just erase those tiles completely, either by replacing them with blank tiles or by hex editing?

I'm working on a hack! Check it out here. Progress: 64/95 levels.
Ok lets say i want to change Mario's fireball palette to palette D (the green one) like Luigi's fireball in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Is there any way this can be done, and if so can someone get me started? Any help is much appreciated.

Well, one way is simply changing palette A to green. Another way could be through hex editing, I think.</div></div>
is it possible to have the Nintendo presents animated? like make it have a few frames of animation?
Edit: Level up to fish -_-

If you hex edited it out of Mario's frames then you have some free 8x8 tiles for some universal sprites .
In what file can I find the graphics for the castle cutscene backgrounds? I can't find them...

Changing palette A to green will mess with my yellow sprites. Can you get me started on the hex, I'm really bad at all that.

So I'm just supposed to erase them, then. Good. I've done that before, so all I'll have to do is copy-paste my hex edit table from before. But I think the person who submitted them should have mentioned something about that.

Hex editing is simple! First go into the ROM Map and look for a palette related adress, then in the description find something about the fireball, if you find it, download translehexlation and open you ROM. Then press CTRL+G, enter "x" (without quotes) then withoutputting a space insert the numbers and letters of the adress you found in the ROM Map, I'm fairly sure the number you appear on will be the number of the palette the sprite/object uses, then just enter 0A, save, and test. Before you go looking, I'm not entirely sure that there is a palette adress for the fireball in the ROM Map. </div></div>

No I tried x02A24C and x02A15F and recolored the gfx. Anything else I can do?
@Raptor - (Stop the Quote Pyramid, it's starting to stretch the page a little) You don't type in the SNES Offset after the "x" you put in the Address. so you type in "x1224C" and "x1235F"
Also... at "x1235F" the Format it's in is YXPPCCCT. you can find info. on it here
I change my layout every 4-5 months
Well, the hex editing didn't work...the tiles cut off. And when I put everything back to the way it was, some of the tiles didn't match up.

Okay, I went to download "Sprite Tool" from the tools page, and I can't find it!
So was I stricken with selective blindness or is Sprite Tool seriously gone from this site? And if so, does anyone know where else I might find it?
I'm looking to insert a couple SMB2 sprites in my hack.

How do I add/insert/change/-proper word- a custom palette into the overworld? I downloaded a set of graphics with some SMB3 parts and it comes with a palette file but I can't find out where I'm supposed to go to load it :/
As far as I am aware, you can't load palletes into the overworld. You just have to do it manually.
@GearboxGoober You just load the sample level since it has the pallete.
I have a basic understanding of how to use Map16, by making upside-down munchers, floating land masses, making note blocks be un-bouncy, etc. I have downloaded custom graphics from this website, and I don't know how to put them in my hack. Please help! Thank's in advance.
@GoldPooka - Palette 0, Color D-F controls the Overworld border Shadow. Palette 1, Color 9 controls the overworld border. Palette B, Color 7 controls the color of the 32x32 square around mario
