I'm not entirely sure but I believe that the reason why the original Yoshi coin doesn't reappear is, because it's an extended object.
So my best bet would be making your Yoshi coin a custom extended object. I'm not good with ASM at all, but maybe you could try saving a value to an empty RAM address and have that check each time Mario enters that particular room the Yoshi coin is located in and when the value matches with the saved one, it won't reappear?
Btw, here is ObjecTool, a patch that lets you insert extended objects. Though I have no idea how it works as I never used it.
what should i do when i'm using ExGFX for FG and BG who both use a custom palette, but messes up the other one's palette ?
edit : wow, waste of post 1337
Combine the palletes, put the BG pallete on and leave the FG pallete messed up, then on the level next to it,inseert the FG pallete, open the pallete editor then select a colour of the FG (leave the window open). Then go back to the BG pallete level, press OK then SAVE!!! Then do it for all the other colours.
but that messes up the BG color, since they are using the same lines in the pallet editor.
Them you'll have to edit the Map16 to use a different palette.
Question Time:
1. How do I make an "elavator" level. I have tried but it failed big time.
2. How do you mkae the FG transparent. People do this in hacks usaully with the SMW underground pallette so it kinda looks like crystal or glass.
1. Put the things you want to fall on layer 2 falls, and put the lava on layer 1. then use the sprite called "Layer 2 falls".
Its not possible to via Lunar Magic, only Wendy and Lemmy, IIRC.
I think SpudAlpha was messing with Mode7, and it somehow glitched Iggy's battle.

They use Level Mode 1E, Level Mode 1F to made Layer 2 Transparent. but be warned that Message Boxes will not show any message if you have one in the level.
I change my layout every 4-5 months
in BTSD, when i try to add the reloc for a .BIN, witch in this case is -1, i keep getting an error message saying :

invalid input. must be hex values separated by commas with no spaces including a trailing comma at the end of the last entry.
so what do i need to do ?
You don't put -1 in the reloc. only values like A9 would be LDA and so on

On the same note, I've seen people make those same kinds of things go like this:

How do they do that, also? If this is too advanced, please point me in the right direction.
Ah, the wonders of Layer 2. <3
That isn't really an answer, but i get what you are driving at. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that!

Click the blue mushroom in Lunar Magic, place the ExGFX in the ExGraphics folder, name it ExGFX80.bin . Then press the yellow mushroom, click the red poison mushroom then put it in a slot (BG2 or 3) then make some Map16 then press F9 to save.
