Looking at these votes, I seriously doubt I'll win anything. I have four or so votes for "best regular member" (some of the votes here make no sense in my opinion, but eh), and I haven't bothered counting my votes for "biggest postcount++er" (voting me here makes no sense D...

Well we must already assume that SNN, Smallhacker, and Kyoseron exemplify and command the majority of all the decent awards... now only question is, who is qualified on this site to be deemed mentally incapacitated... or well favored, long time members

This will truly be another popularity contest as Sagittaire said... I only wish that the less known, more inconsequential persons can prevail over some of the more frequent passerby to this site. But thats just me rambling...
Yeah, it is sad that people are voting based on who they know instead of who deserves it. Then again, isn't that how most contests go? The only way otherwise if you have a panel of judges. I still need to make my second person votes, but I will try to get people that I know deserve it. There are plenty of people not active on the site that are cool, the IRC counts as much as the main site IMO.

Yeah I know... *off topic* I can never get the IRC to work correctly... ;_; *on topic* I wish people wouldn't vote on popularity alone, but what can you do? Fish swim, birds fly, nothing we can do about it... x_x

I just counted my votes, and I have four votes for "best regular member" and ten for "biggest postcount++er" right now. Since I can't try to tell people to vote for me in this thread, I'll do the exact opposite and tell everyone NOT to vote for me for biggest postcount++e- *shot*
Also, TheIceDragon hit the nail on the head... and I'm somewhat disappointed because it seems like a lot of voters are voting for their friends when different people deserve awards, thus skewing the results (or rather a lot more than previous times the mosts were held here)... but meh.

Guys, guys, the Mosts are for fun! It's not a 'who accomplished the best thing in which category' contest. No! If it were, it would be a contest judged by staff only. But it's for all users.
Humanity.
They'll always choose their friends and rarely the unknown guys who did much more.
It's fine to name your friends, even if they didn't do much for it.
So what if you don't win a trophy? Okay, too bad, but it doesn't make the contest less fun.

Just because I'm a user at SMWC do not mean I have to hate arbe. You should not really assume stuff like that.
