The sequal to the critically aclaimed thread 'Addmusic Problems', in which i complain about my seemlessly endless problems with adding custom music to SMW.

My problem this time is with Addmusic revx, which I now use instead of Carol's addmusic. Everything seemed to insert fine, all of my old music from the Carol's addmusic days was intact.

Then I tried to insert new songs. It didn't work, and random songs were inserted in what seemed like all the music slots (I didn't try them all).

After studying the readme, I found out why. it turns out I have to use the .ini and .misc files to tell addmusic the names of the music files, and where they should be inserted. That's all well and good, but it then became apparent that I had neither a .ini nor .misc file anywhere.

It said they are automatically created after dragging the ROM onto amx.bat, but... yep, you guessed it, no .ini or .misc.

Any suggestions?

You have to use cmd.exe and type in what you normally type in addmusic english, updated

(addmusic [rom].smc INIT)
