Yes, I do everything the readme says,

I expand my Rom to 1-5 MG

I drag my rom into the AMX.bat and press 'x like it says

I put the text file into the folder that says: LEVEL

I put in the name of the song text file into the ini folder, and save it there.

I indeed have the MSC file where my Lunar magic editor is.

and of course, I drag my Rom into the AMX.bat file and press 'x to insert the music.

and I go to Lunar magic, click onto the music box, and select number 20 (tetris attack yoshi's theme) just like I should.

but when I enter the level that I put the music into, the game just blacks out, and the level doesn't load.

is there something I missed? surely the readme doesn't cover that. anyway. I was just wondering where I had gone wrong. I can't find a tutorial for this version of addmusic. so please understand that I had the right to post this. help would be great. thank you.

You shouldn't ever use the batch file. I've got the same result as you every time I use the batch file. Just run the command prompt in the same folder as addmusic and your ROM, and type this if it's your first time inserting music with RevX:


Note that your ROM name can't have any spaces in it. This is the code to use if it's not your first time inserting music with RevX:


I would advise you restoring from backup on your rom, as the batch file will always crash it.
