I've noticed in other sprites that using $E4 as a Y reference sometimes causes the sprite to not spawn if it's on a screen boundary.
I've removed my NoFades patch until I can find the brightness code for Star Road warps.

Yes, and this routine fixes that. Notice how I set up $14E0,x in the un-activated High Byte right before $E4,x, then later I activate 16-bit "A"? This means it accommodates the X coordinate for the entire level rather than just that screen-- a feature most of mikeyk's earlier, popular sprites don't even have.

Other thing is I'm probably starting over on coding the Master Hand. And the reason is because the other day I learned how to make Dynamic Sprites. I haven't made any yet, but I know how now. I'm really excited about it. I figured I should make Master Hand Dynamic now, since he uses so many frames... and then I thought "Hmm, now that I can make sprites rotate and grow and whatnot, shouldn't I like, be making a true Master Hand boss?" Still debating whether or not to do that. It would take a lot of work, and it also might be a little overly complicated for a simple reoccurring mini-boss. But either way I'm re-thinking my Master Hand boss, now that I have this new skill with making custom sprites.

Though I'm also wondering if I should like, just make some simple dynamic sprites for now to get a feel of making them. Eh no matter really... I'll figure something out.

So yeah. Don't expect a Master Hand too soon. I've seen people put things about a Master Hand boss in their sig, or PM me about it, or bring it up elsewhere, and it's annoying me, furthermore it's a lot of pressure. I want those people to know I'm not putting myself on a deadline or anything, like you seem to think. Again, I think making this thread was a big mistake on my part... I should've kept this project of mine under wraps, in case big delays happen like this that end up disappointing a bunch of people.

That's all, really. I'll still make the Master Hand. Just won't be for quite a while, now that I'm getting the hang of a new skill.

On the other hand, once I get my own Dynamic Sprites to work, I'll be the third person in the history of the SMW community to be able to code one.

Skwaa, dont worry about it. People just use people to get what thay want, and in this case, it happens to be your Master Hand sprite. Just don't let it get to you.

XD Thanks again, but I wouldn't say "figured out" just YET... I know the theory, not yet the practice. I still need to try and make one first. The problem I'm struggling with is that I only want to make a custom sprite I know I myself will use, yet at the same time I'm not sure which sprites I need for my hack yet (I'll know when I finish planning out all the areas and stuff, which is a ways off). It's quite a dilemma. XD
