Ok, I have one more question.

I have seven exits planned for my current level. For some of them, previous exits will be required so that things in the level change.

In one case, you must enter the level with a Cape.

In one case, you must enter the level with a Yoshi.

The issue I have here is that in either of these cases, if the player dies in either of these sections, he must repeat an earlier section to gain the power up necessary for re-entering the area he had previously reached.

Would it be ok to include an additional level that would allow players to re-acquire a power up without traversing the same areas again?

Does some1 know how can edit ONLY the fire mario thing en when it is he throws gireballs up instead of forward, lika an jumping piranha plant does?
Please help me ;)

One quick question: If we plan on having vines that don't touch the ground, can we make a block that acts like block 25 (a go-through block) to prevent their cutoffness? Or should we just leave the vines alone?

I just wanted to point out that my level is 60% complete as of now, and I'm working a lot on it. :)

I don't think hex edits (or graphical edits, that wasn't really clear to me) are allowed in this contest.

I have a question. I NEED to use two message blocks for my level, but, later on the level, there is a puzzle where you need to keep a Boo Block following you. Would it be acceptable to not include a message talking about that, but having some reset doors scattered around? Or would that be considered a violation of standard 7a?
Oh god, I don't think I'm going to make the deadline. I'll try, though!

Did you even read the first post carefully? Levels that were uploaded before the rule came out will be moved to the File Bin which was already done for him.

Since the vines were cutoff in the original SMW, I won't take off points for having the bottom a little cutoff. Random piece of vine floating in midair with no attachments however, I will take off.

Hex edits are not allowed unless they are done through a patch listed in the Exceptions section of the Rules. Graphical edits are not allowed, HOWEVER, you may re-arrange existing graphics as long as they are pixel-for-pixel the same graphics. Rotation of existing graphics is also allowed.

If you could find some way of telling the player that they have to have the boo block follow you, that would be best. If not, it's not exactly a violation, but it might be a bit annoying to find that you needed it and have to reset because you didn't know.
How about having some coin arrows pointing at it? Would that help?

Also, there's no time limit, so the player can reset the rrom as many times as they want.
