Yay, haven't been here in a while. So I got bored a few days and updated that silly demo that was here before. So like, that patch on the list called "Super Mario World: Extremely Extreme 2-Level Demo" has been updated so it should be replaced with this:
Still only 2 levels, but there are some new rooms, 4 exits, and exploit fixes in the old rooms. Dainegai was SUPPOSED to help test it, but I don't think he ever got around to it. Way to go, dood. Also, sorry for having the majority of the map from the main ROM sitting around... guess I got lazy. At least the levels were taken out.
Also, random side note: Ninji Gaiden sounds adorable and I should try that.
If anyone wants it, I have a hard basically one-level hack, designed with a different intent than most. In a nutshell, it was designed, (and tested) by me to be 100%possible WITHOUT using slowdown at all, although it is still difficult. The main level is very long, and I decided originally when making it, to force me to use more creativity, that I would make the main level with only one tileset, rather than using a bunch of small rooms so the puzzles should be original. Aesthetically, there are no floating or stacked munchers, no graphical glitches, and to my knowledge, no SMW glitches required by the player either. There are some custom blocks, OW, music, xhanged gfx, ExGFX, and the like. If anyone wants to play it, or add it to the list, that is fine. The link is in the file bin, here:
If anyone actually plays this, please PM me with feedback, and your opinions on it. I'd post some screenshots, but I'm not really sure how, in all honesty.

Yes, whatever you guys find is more convenient for yourselves. I am fine with you taking over, as it frees up my time. Unfortunately, I haven't even judged at all since the deadline, as all my time has been eaten up by more real life crap, such as finals. And whenever I do have free time, it's spent catching up on SMWC, making my rounds through all the unread threads. Hm, I oughta request a ban until I finish judging...

the pit of 100 trials definately does not deserve to be a kaizo-type hack. It is much too easy and It took me half an hour to beat it without savestates.Why not go to my Youtube channel?

I also have a Kaizo Type hack, its called "Survival Challenge"! I put all my hard work into this, plus! I'm making (and probably finished with...) A new Kaizo hack! It is the Hardest one I could make, I urge anyone who loves Kaizo hacks as much as I do to try it out and beat it! If you want to play it, I uploaded it to the File Bin! And I might put in my newest Kaizo hack if anyone wants me to!

Okay, I've added you both, but please remember that this is not an eyesore or crappy hacks that are difficult thread. These hacks are meant to have quality. I'm saying that no one'll play bad palette world if it really does have bad palettes. Stacked/floating munchers are also major turnoffs. Please keep this in mind while submitting your hack.

In order for there to be hacks, there must be rules, so I decided to make a rule set for kaizo hacks. Here they are:

Kaizo hack submission rules:
1. Is it possible?
Hacks that are impossible to complete will be removed.
Hacks that cannot be played (bad patch, ect.) will be removed.
2. Does it have substance?
Hacks that are very short will be removed.
Hacks that have blatant level edits will be removed.
Hacks that look like they had very little effort put in to them will be given a warning.
3. Is it Kaizo?
Hacks that are easy will be removed.
Hacks that are somewhat-but-not-very hard will be given a warning.

And there you have them. Note that two warnings count as one removal reason.
