Well, I think we need a wider variety of bans (sorry, this is a bit off-topic). Geno should be give a 3-month ban or something from every forum except SMW hacking ones, let's see how much he enjoys the site then :|
Also, last night, I found Kyo on rizon and queried her. I said "Kyoseron. Why?" She just said "I don't really want to talk about it "
I figured I would just leave the poor girl alone. I think I can see that she was somewhat pissed, with people submitting the same hack 3 times without even bothering to read her wonderfully constructive critical removal logs.
Also, I think I owe you all an apology for my posts on sigma hacker (if you don't know, don't ask). I don't really have much of a life so anything that involves loldrama on SMWC is like... woah to me. Luckily, Arbe has stated that he never talked to MWC therefore he had no idea that I was "excited about" the upcoming hackings. So, even though I encouraged the hack, the hackers didn't know X_x

I don't know how bans work, but I would assume it's just a button of a check of a box; I would've just opened 9 tabs, and banned them all simultaneously, not hard X_x But, considering you didn't know what was going on, I'll cut you an slack.
Also, I'd like to defend Geno too, he's a cool guy and doesnt afraid of anything except being a forum baned

I'd like to point out something I noticed during the whole ordeal. Some users decided to reregister under names like, "You suck Arbe" and the like. Don't. I already found out who did it, and while they may not be punished this time around, realize that reregestering an account is still against the rules. Not only that, but all it does is encourage Arbe and his cronies to attack even more. They do this purely to get a reaction from the users. If you really want to help, don't give them one.
A lot of you seem shocked by the people involved. Let me clear up a few things from our side, and hopefully this post won't get automatically deleted.

That is a very good question. But you know what? I'm not going to answer. I'll let you try and figure out the logic in that. I'll just say. Usually people who have worked on something for a countless amount of time, wouldn't readily destroy their own work without a damn good reason.
Just think about it for a while.
Oh, and SNN, I wasn't banned before this like you are try to say I was. A good portion of the people you listed were never banned before this.

Actually, Kaeru is the one that was posting Goatse. A Yoshi got invited to their MSN chat, and they were saying stuff like... HAHAHA Kieran will lose lots of money..... and stuff like that. And no, A Yoshi had nothing to do with the attack.
Like usual, I managed to be away from the computer at the height of this madness. My only realization that something was wrong was when I went on yesterday and found the information about the rollback.
The 3-day ban I managed to get may or may not have been part of Arbe's spree.
Goes to show that no person on the internet is a stable secure friend. Our fault for trusting such fiends and look at the lol price that was tolled upon us.

Well, as someone who's not terribly involved with the community here, I'm still kinda surprised. Kyo was really nice from what little I'd known of her, especially going out of her way to help with a song request I'd made. And Kaeru... that's Darklink898, the same one who won the first SMWC level design contest? The fact that these people would come back and attack the site is surprising.
Regardless of the attacks, thanks again for the positive stuff they did for the community. Its a shame they'll be remembered negatively now.
I just hope that things can eventually cool down and people can get on with their lives. I'll never understand why people go out of their way to inconvenience others, especially with no gain for it.

I talked to TNR in person yesterday, and apparently he had a lot of fun banning people and screwing with the site. He was also responsible for the now-infamous "main page picture". I haven't seen it, but I heard it was pretty awful. He also told me that Arbe wished to recruit him for the next attack,(I don't know when it will be, so don't ask) but he said no.
