Tip: By pressing Shift while placing event tiles, they will be made "silent" and will not appear until a map transition happens. Always use silent event tiles to draw paths in other maps (i.e. a Vanilla Dome event while the player is on the main map), or glitchy tiles may appear.
You must put genuine effort and hard work into creating your project
Other people will want to see your best. Try to put genuine work into your projects! Looking for feedback is okay of course.
If you are working on something made of multiple parts, keep everything related to your project in one thread.
Be it a comic strip, different chapters or even books of a story you're writing or new videos on your YouTube channel, please keep everything relevant to a single thread. It will help people find everything relevant to your project, too.
Don’t post your own content in other’s threads.
Threads in the Creation Corner are usually personal. Don't post your own stuff in someone else's thread unless the owner of said thread has invited you to!
A word on criticism
When you decide to post something here--be it a drawing, music, or what-have-you, you need to keep in mind that people will comment and give you feedback. They might praise you, but there will also be criticizm on your work to help you improve. Here are a few basic things to keep in mind in regards to criticism:
Don't assume you have the final say or the best opinion!
Your voice is just one of many. Feel free to defend your art if people criticize you, but constantly attacking people's opinions will end up looking bad on your part. Similarly, if you have something you'd like to say about someone's art, remember that everyone has different opinions of equal value.
Being critical does not give you the right to be mean!
Give your opinions with tact, and others will do you the same favour. Do not try to hide flaming behind criticism, and do not outright insult people. If you are caught flaming or being needlessly mean, you'll be out of here before you can say, "forum baned."
If you honestly cannot accept criticism, don't bother posting your project
When you put something on display, you have to be prepared for people to criticize you. Don't take it as a personal attack--take it as a means of improving your skills. If you simply cannot do that, then don't put something on display.
