Pikerchu: (Grassland) WO_oW!
(Player,NPC) Wow! This contais the faces.

Some graphics I ripped quite a while ago from MFGG.net. The cement block is from SMWCP, but it was meant to be a placeholder until I found some other graphics for it. I don't plan on using these myself so I might submit them after I fix up some stuff and add some more tiles.
I feel kind and generous right now, CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS FOR EVERYONE!

To Pikerchu: The tree needs a lot of work as I have a few complaints about it. One of them being that the leaves on the tree look too solid, rather than individual leaves on a branch. The second complaint is that that palette of the tree bark is the same as the dirt, tweak the palettes so that there is some difference. The bridge you made could use a different color for it's outline. And the rock's shading perspective looks odd, It doesn't look like it follows a specific light.

To Underway: The main foreground looks nice, however those cement blocks look to grainy and odd. Try smoothing out the edges so that it isn't bumpy. As for decoration suggestions, add pillars and torn/ghost-like tapestry.

To JowTH: That looks really nice and I love how it looks like the monty moles break through the ground like a wall rather than a hole. However, that yellow palette you have inside the dirt stands out too much and isn't fitting that well with the rest of the dirt palette. Try using a brown/beige color around the same brightness and it should look good. The turning frames of the coin need work because it doesn't really show the bump that is on the face of the coin (It still looks very like the YI coin). That muncher's open mouth frame looks like the muncher opened one side of his mouth wider than the other.

To YamiRamzaNeko: You're still alive, which is a good thing. About that sprite, it looks nice but I'm not too sure what you are asking about. I'm going to assume you mean animation as "Could be used for player graphics" and answer yes. GodzilLadida made a nice patch to change Mario's Tilemap for 16x32 to 32x32, though he still has 16x32 interaction with everything.

To Iceguy: You just posted right before I was done with my post, Ninja. It's a nice tileset and things that you should fix up are the greenery (it's a real word!) as the shading on the cactus and little shrub there look off/non-existent. And as a suggestion, maybe you can add 16x16 pots to place the cactus and shrub in (saving some Map16). Another thing you should work on is that chain as it doesn't really look like it can be a chain but more so a bumpy pole. Use Rotsprite to make slopes for the tileset, as that tool was made for slopes (and I love it).

Now for why I am posting here: I'm editing the game boy LoZ 2-D tileset to look better in SNES and THIS is what I have so far. I feel it's an improvement but it's still dull looking for the SNES, mainly because it is lacking in color and decoration.

I'd like suggestions on how to make this set more SNES appropriate.

I wonder what a HFD opcode would do in ASM...

Well the "cement blocks" are actually stones and i think for stones they look ok. But thanks for your suggestions fpr the decoration. I'll eventually add them later.
TLMB: They look pretty good. I like the coloring, gives it sort of a water-castle feel, and the rounded blocks add to the graphics.

That looks pretty nice Iceguy!

Now, I've been inspired by the BG from SMb3's 1-1 and tried drawing it in my style / the SMW style. This is my final result (uses the YI clouds, I find them fit within both my and SMW's style):

Comments/critism is appreciated.

Grav, I really love that BG. Mixing YI and SMB3 works very nice. The SMW styled hills also look cool. One little thing: the ground in the BG looks too much like an FG styled grassland. I know it must be hard to improve that... Maybe palette changes would do...

This is an ExGFX that I made a little while ago, is it good?

They would work well with RPG-like cutscenes, I believe. The right eye on the angry face looks quite weird, but I love the face on the final one. ^^

Wario Land 4 debug level foreground.

Release it?

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.
My Custom Forest GFX:

Pretty much finished(except for a few tweaks) with a SMW-based foreground. I drew much of the graphics(like the slopes/etc.), so I'm pretty satisfied, except for the "hitbox" of the graphics.

I will release this.

Jesus, no one posts here. Anyway, I'm working on a very story intense, RPG-like hack. I started drawing the characters, and here they are.

I like these!
Switch the one on the right clothes (white shirt, red jacket or something) and give him lighter hair, green eyes and it'll look almost like me !

@cheat-master30:
Release please! I'll use it in my debug rooms!
@Magiluigi: Very creative. Though, a few eye looks look a bit off, they look great. I hope someone uses them in an RPG hack if they're released.

@cheat-master30: Clever idea, some cool ideas could come out of making a debug-themed level (though, as an actual level, not an actual debug xD)

@Ninja X: Looks very nice. The shading on everything is a nice consistent style. What it needs is some more detail on the dirt, which will make it look even better.

@Spud Alpha: That's some very creative work right there. It's a very clever use of those in-ground grassy patches even the original SMW rarely uses, and the flowers give it a nice touch. Though, like mentioned earlier, I'd remove the cracks in the ground, as they don't really go with the rest of the decor and they stand out a little too much.

Anyway, another BG I ripped for my hack. Though, before ripping it I made some modifications. The original is the BG for Wacky Workbench (Good Future) from Sonic CD. I changed it a bit, since I'm using it in a mechanical observatory, so that it has an open roof (well, there's a glass dome but it'd be hard to change the BG to show glass in it's style.). Turned out quite well, and looked good with a nice HDMA gradient. I'll release it if people want it.

To all posting on page 142: AMAZING!
I drawed some NSMBWii styled GFX. Look:

It's some hard work.

Underway: A-a... Amazing! I'm almost out of words! Could you please release this so I can use this is my hack?

One thing I'd like to say though. I don't like the way of transparation in the tileset though. A bit more blue and a bit less transparation would look better if you ask me. Also, why is there a plant in here? I thought it was a factory...

Anyway, superb job!
Underway: Look at my previous post ^ .

Thanks :3 I am not sure if i will release them, because i wanted to use them in my hack but i'll see. And the plant is there because i drawed it before the other decorations when i had no idea what to draw. I'll delet
it.

Ninja Edit: Thanks, Ninja-Luigi :3

Edit2: And it would be very cool if someone could tell me what kind of music i could use for that level because i really have no idea.
GvS @smwcentral.net ~ u:11380
Go to the music section, and hit control + F and type in "Trap Factory".

Nothing fits better in a factory than this. Trust me.
