Download !!SHOULD BE FIXED NOW!!

Screenshots:

Yup, not many screenshots. I don't want to reveal TOO much, so instead of making new screens, I'm showing you some of the TEASER screens! HAH! You want to know what's in it? Go play this hack! You won't regret it. (Maybe.) (If you like these kinds of hacks.)

Story:

After trouncing Iggy, Mario finds out that Morton also cloned himself, and has taken over a volcano! Now he must trounce all the Mortons to save Habanero Volcano!

Levels: 9

You all remember EVERY LEVEL IGGY!, right? If you don't, you may want to check it out. The basic premise is that at the end of every single level, you fight who is in the title- in this case, Morton. That's right, ALL levels, including secret ones. It's also the original SMW boss, too...

Once you beat Morton's Volcano, be sure to watch the credits to the end! You won't regret it... :o

Also, thanks to Bloodstar, Supertails, Foursword4, and Lightvayne for beta-testing this! Especially Lightvayne, he found nearly all the bugs first. XD

With that said, enjoy the hack, guys.
Either I'm missing something blatantly obvious, or the third room of Morton's Fortress is completely broken... Mario doesn't even interact with the Layer 2 floor, and there are invisible solid blocks everywhere...

EDIT: Oh, and another thing about that room: you might not want to use a Layer 3 background there, as you have a message block as well.

I do indeed think it's broken, as every time I check the room, it says that the Layer 2 is set to Level, Interact.

As for the Layer 3:

DKUFJ DKSLPYHF NIDJSOHF NGG NDFKLGNH

WHY DO I KEEP FORGETTING TO REMOVE THAT?!?!

EDIT: Okay, yeah, it's completely broken. Layer 2 is supposed to be at the ceiling. It's supposed to be a "cage" of cement blocks and a single On-Off Switch. So why is it copying the floor instead?! I DIDN'T TELL IT TO PUT THAT ON LAYER 2.

Wow, this is a sequel to EVERY LEVEL IGGY? I LOVED that game! Especially it's level design and palettes. I'm going to check this out.

--------------------
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
Oh, and I also found a small glitch in Morton's Lake: I entered the room with the keyhole but couldn't find the key, and when I went back through the pipe to search for it, the bottom of the background was all glitchy.

In level 2, when you jump across the falling platforms, the abundance of bullet bills can cause some of the platforms to not appear. Resulting in instant death.
I really got to check this out, as I absolutely loved every level iggy.

How I wish my good computer was working!
Well, I'm just gonna assume that this is a great hack.

Okay...THAT should be fixed! Let me know of any other problems. D:

Also, the fixed version breaks another personal rule: NO CUSTOM SPRITES. But eh. It's the only thing that gets me my original idea for Level 035, the Layer 2 Bug room, AND fixes the issue with Layer 2! D:

So yeah. That room now flips the On-Off Switch every so often, and it's a good few seconds between each flip. If you so desperately need to get through quickly, be sure to watch Magikoopa... Also, because of the length of wait, Time is increased by 100! ENJOY~!

Awesome! I'll do an LP of it ASAP

I will accept any Super Mario World ROM hack to review.
Foursword4 and I netplayed the beta of this, and while the difficulty was somewhat frustrating in parts (most of which were ironed out) the hack has some very nice palettes, and the levels and clever use of layer 2 really stood out. Nice job with this, and I'm looking forward to EVERY LEVEL ROY!
C3 booth the 20th

I only have time to play one level.

I guess that this is a normal "Every Level Iggy!" level, except with Morton at the end instead of Iggy. This time, I search the level for a P-switch. At the end, I have about 60 seconds to kill Morton, but I use only about 10 seconds, because two fireballs and one jump quickly becomes victory.

No more comments from me, because I need to see the rest of C3...

If I can define with one word this hack, I'd say: Impressive.

And meh.. Nine levels! I've found for only seven.. But I've found the end in Morton's Volcano.

Well, the game is really good. Seeing that it's nine levels long, every level have lots of paths to take, secret stuff and etc, which makes the game worths a second, even third gameplay after revealing, of course, all exits. I really like how you set the palletes for each level; The colors you used really fit the style of levels, specifically the volcano.

The game is indeed challenging, but never unfair. I got frustated specially in Morton's Cave where I was almost getting the pipe to the goal and I fell into the last pit and had to restart the "Green Cave Area". But, for me, a guy who likes challenging hack, it was a pleasure to play this game..

About the overworld, I have few to say, because it's only one submap.. well not counting the one that goes to the main overworld, which is Morton's one. The overworld is good, I can't spot flaws on it.

..and I didn't find any bugs.

--------------------

Matt, great job on this hack, I really enjoyed it, looking for the secret exits and the level design and palette were spot on, awesome job!

The only complaint I have is, you could bring down the difficulty early on, slightly, but that's just me I guess, I'm picky like that :P

I'll need specifics on that! Where exactly could the difficulty be toned down? (Also, funny thing- I personally feel that I can't bring difficulty in well...)
