Keyblade Master's C3 Project -Lost and Found: A SMW minihack-(Demo Two is Ready)

(Notice:I just Now Updated the Demo)

You guys did'nt think I had a secret project (LOL).
Anyways I don't yet have a plot, But my hack is a tribute to the secret level in the Special World of the orginal SMW and the "Lost levels" of my earlier career as a SMW hacker, but keep in mind that these are well built levels.

Snapshots

Not a very good Title Screen, is it?

The Overworld for the entire hack. The starry roads that you are seeing only indicates that I already unlocked those paths while playtesting it.

A snapshot of "Forest Frolic" there's a lakitu in this level.

This one shows the inside of a Ghost House.

And Here's one from the level Dolfin Dash

That looks so fun. I can't wait to play it! And it looks like I'll be playing yours first.

Taking a small break
Thank you for the comments, SevenLevels. I plan on releasing the full version next weekend.
It looks nice :)
I think you could do a little bit more with the overworld though, but other than that, it looks fun!

I'll try it.
That's good enough for me, Amos. But what I am trying to do with the overworld is to re-create the simplicity of the original Special World from SMW. I would be glad to hear Recommendations on the design of the Overworld. Or even suggestions for levels.

Ah I see.
Still looks good though :)
The status bar is off color in a couple screenshots.

C3 booth the 24th

Visit booth, take patch, play one level, repeat. Visit booth, take patch, play one level, repeat. This is how I do C3.

Now the game is "Lost and Found". I stop at this booth, like I stopped at the previous booth and the booth previous to the previous booth, and use my emulator to play the new game. I only try the first level.

My emulator struggles at this scene with a Lakitu, four Kooopas and some Spineys. The SMW game engine might not be able to handle these sprites at full speed. Mario dies multiple times, here and elsewhere, but Lakitu feeds Mario with one-up mushrooms and I stay in the game until I win the level.

This game actually has a save point after the first level, so I save my progress.

Then I walk to the next booth. The convention has no pause...

You may not believe this. But I have manage to make five more levels in 24 hours time. I'll have demo two up soon. In the meantime, Feast your eyes on this.
