My New Super Mario World 2 game

This is my first time being in C3. I submitted something for the autoscrolling level a few months ago and the level design contest for SMW. I wanted to show some thing of my game for SMW2 though so here some screenshots.I haven't been working on it for a long time so I know the screenshots are old, but they were the best ones I had so let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for more levels or other things like level names.

Beginning of 1-3

Edited level name for 1-4

Message in 1-6

Edited boss fight in 1-8

Bonus room in 2-1

New Bonus room in 2-4

I know the pallete might look weird, but I was just doing this for fun for my game development class. It was an old level I was working on, and I just wanted to edit it in Paint Shop Pro so don't misjudge it by the background.

This will eventually be bonus room in 2-7.

and finally a video of my newest level, 2-7. I know it was only halfway done or else I would have released a demo, but I probably want to do until like 3-4 before I release one. This is just for C3 to show the level design. Also, I know that big hexagon banner does not appear sometimes or it appears in different places. I don't know what's wrong yet, but I hope the level design is good.

Another video, but the level is kind of old. It's the one w/the Poochey screenshot.

The palettes seem to be generally bad. Obvious examples are the foreground in the first screenshot and the backgrounds in the fifth, sixth and seventh screenshots. Try different ones. Also, on the Salvo screenhshot, there is cutoffness in the castle wall, and if the player destroys all those green blocks, Salvo can defy gravity. The message in the third screenshot has many cutoff letters, so you should try re-arranging them. Also, what is that "?" square thing in the dark screenshot?

Try to fix these issues.
You gotta admit that the video of your level was pretty well thought out! the egg and swinging thorn rock was genius. Although you should rethink editing the Salvo fight, make it so you have to beat him before he pushes you offa cliff or something, any other way, Baby King is right, Salvo can defy gravity, so make sure to put the games physics into mind when you make a hack.
Working on new project : Paper Mario : SNES Edition (Need relatively good spriter, along with some experience with sprite sheets)
Baby King Bowser,
I don't understand why you say he defies gravity. Is he supposed to sink when he goes into the lava like the tap tap boss? b/c there is lava under the green blocks, but I can't help it if he defies gravity so I'm not sure what to do about that. I thought there was lava in the original game so can you explain what is wrong w/me using it?

Oh, and that ? thing is a box w/stars,I think. I was trying to make a custom one, but does it not look good? I don't know how to change the graphics back b/c I drew over it. Thanks for the feedback. I will try to fix the palettes before I release it.
