No, there is no getting coins from castles. No, there are no eggs either. There are no castles, but there are bosses.
That's not the point, though. Coins are dangerous. They don't hurt you. If you collect 100 coins, you will die (Thanks Alcaro!).
There are enough coins to kill you in each level. Try to avoid them.
