Worst mistake in LM

For all of you hack creators, what was the worst mistake you made in LM?

Mine was having the wrong sprite header. The graphics were fine, but the net koopas were climbing up one, then down two, up one, down two, etc. The worst but funniest part about it was the Magikoopa. It was able to appear in solid stone blocks and turn them into koopas, making holes in the blocks!

Yeah, I had that problem too. The entire layout of it was all messed up the first time I made a vertical level. I still even make mistakes today because I forget to do something.

My first vertical level attempt (fail) was my second worst LM mistake I'd say.

Saving the level about 10-20 times.
This takes up to much space and you get the expand your rom to 8.

When I first started ROMhacking, I didn't leave a clean ROM. It took me a long time to get a new one after I realized my mistake...

My worst mistake in Lunar Magic would probably be accidentally deleting my level...twice...
If you count OW Editor it was putting a graphic file that wasn't there. It's very hard to get rid of all the windows.
To be honest, the only real problem I have ever had in Lunar Magic was a long time ago, before I knew that the "Enable Custom Palette" checkbox existed. I actually ended up messing up a whole bunch of colours all throughout the game since I thought they only affected one level.
Yeah, my biggest problem ended up being too wasteful with Map16 pages and, to an extent, the levels themselves.
Saving the original SMW overworld into my own hack after making half the main OW and 4 submaps with events, considering I hate making envents. But there is a good side to this! This is how I discovered how to import overworlds into other ROMs. :P
Probably patching a IPS onto my ROM twice.
Making ExGFX in a new rom, and inserting the level into The Fate Of Luigi. I had used level 131, and it inserted into level 131 by default. I now would go to File, Save Level, and change the level, but back then, I had automatically reached for the quick save button, effectively saving over the level.

The worst problem I had with LM is waaaay back when I started out. It showed my OW glitched up sooo bad but in-game it wasn't. But after I went to a level, I fount them glitched! That's the worst i've had, hasn't happened since.

My worst mistake is when I edited some of the Original tiles in 16x16 Window, replacing some ugly / useless looking tiles with turned-around water etc. Since I did that wrong,it resulted unplayable chaos in all the courses.

I deleted my hack because freezes in the intro screen. After I see the REALLY outdated backup, I forgot to turn on the Buyoance with a Podoboo in the screen...
Now I leave my IPS patches of my hacks for everyone play and edit as you want to.

Bramble Invasion & Surreliatus


Now, my second worst one thankfully didn't show up in one of my releases, but it did annoy me for about a week before I figured it out. The whole time, the problem with my layer 2 smash was using it on incompatible screens. All the time I could've used smash 3, which works for all screens. XD I was disabling scrolls, changing memories and layer 2 objects, until I found a downloadable document called, 'Layer 2 smash screens.' It gave me the answer finally.

The problem was, some of the pillars were snapping into position or not smashing at all until or after certain screens.

My worst mistake in LM was when I overwrote some blocks in blocktool and some of my levels got screwed up. And ofcourse I didn't have a backup of a clean rom anywhere
