Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.
SCORPION and I finally got to have our TA match. I won, 1 to 3. (SCORPION hosted the match, so his score is first, mine second.) He played well, actually. Also, he recorded our final battle, and I'm assuming he'll upload it soon...

I've updated the bracket again with the couple of matches that have been played. At this point, it looks like .. once again .. there may be a few people moving on by default.
Either way, those who haven't played still have the rest of today and all of tomorrow to get their matches done. There will then be another 5-6 days or so to play the third round, at which point the finals should be done by the end of July (if all goes well).
For now, I'd keep watching the first post after tomorrow, as I will update it with the necessary dates and the tournament bracket.

Yeah, I don't think Luigi-San is going to play me either. =<
That's because I haven't seen you online. If we're to play, it will have to be today because I'm going out of town tomorrow. Just contact me on IRC, MSN, or via PM to set something up.
Round 3 of elimination has begun (quarter finals). The winner from each bracket will move on to the semi-finals. The winner from Group A will player the winner of Group B, and the winner from Group C will play the winner of Group D.
Simply put, Azure was my hardest opponent ever, and probably will remain the hardest I ever faced.
As you can see, it wasn't a total blowout. I made a mistake and lost one match. However, I admit I got very lucky throughout the matches, like the game cut me some slack a bit (when taking out garbage, the game sometimes let me continue forming chains even when the last chain was made before I cleared more). The last match lasted about 20 min, by the way.
Sure, I'm disappointed at losing, but it was the greatest loss I've ever had. The first few matches I completely screwed up out of nervousness, but the last set was me at my best, and we were perfectly even - whoever messed up first lost, and I simply got unlucky more times than not.
He deserved to win, though. Me winning would be too predictable...
Should be a relatively interesting semi-final and final match.
Unfortunately, the finals will not be as exciting as was my match against Azure, and likely against Giga in the semi-finals. Sorry guys, but I can say right now that the winner of the battle with Giga and me will win the tournament.
