Strange goings on in Eggvine

OK, something strange just happened to me. I say strange, but from what I've heard about Eggvine this sort of thing is probably not unusual.

Eggvine crashed whilst I was working on my hack, and when I reloaded it, the level I was working on had changed. First of all, the amount of bytes allocated to that level had doubled. Secondly, there was loads of new stuff in the level which I hadn't added, mostly new screen exits (there were about a hundred of them).

I've deleted all the new stuff and played it through and the level works fine. However, I'm worried that something might go wrong further on in my hack now that this bug happened. My question is this: do you think I should continue with this file, or shall I just load up the copy I made last night in case there is a possibility that the file I was working with has been corrupted in some way I do not yet know about?

Thanks for reading.
Did you accidently size an object -1 and save the game?Free counters!
It definitely happened after I tried to save the game. I can't remember what I was doing before that, but I might well have accidentally sized an object wrong.
Don't know. That never happened to me...
However, before I change something in my Hack, I copy the ROM, so I have a last stabile version, if something goes wrong.

^ Yeah I try to do this as well. I did it last night, so my copy is not too far behind. I can easily update the changes, the only thing is, I am quite pleased to have the additional bytes available, so I'm not too sure what to do.
Use the copy, because that glitch can make other random rooms glitch up as well :(Free counters!
^ OK. Thank you!
Copying a ROM that might be corrupted won't get rid of the glitch. If you think it's fixed itself, I guess you can continue, but otherwise I recommend using a clean ROM. Although, if it was indeed a object or sprite error, there's nothing wrong with that.

Just my two cents.
I meant use the copy he made before the current ROM got corrupted.

That's what made me start a new YI Hack :(Free counters!
^ Yep that's right I'm using the copy I made before all this happened. Better to be safe than sorry.
