Exgfx options

Is it better to add exgfx to a hack before you start making it or add it to a clean ROM after your done and then just transfer it.

Thanks.
Why not go to my Youtube channel?

It doesn't really matter, but i guess it would be better when you were working along with the hack, as then you can tell what exgfx you want and don't want.
So you mean to work the hack in vanilla while adding ExGFX?

Edit: I think I'll just add the ExGFX before I start.

What i mean is
Insert the exgfx you want for a level, then work on it,
then when you want to get into a new level, insert the exgfx for that level.
ok, umm what if I need to delete the other 2 map 16 files to get the new ones in as they're the same name. Would that make the earlier graphics garbled?

I'm feeling generous today.

When you insert ExGFX, first, DON'T INSERT IN PAGES 0, 1, OR 2! 0-1 are normal stuff but 2 gets screwed up, so...(if you already did. it's OK, but don't insert multiple ExGFX stuff in it, it might not appear normally.)

Insert in, let's say, page 4. Grab the tiles you want on the Map16 editor and paste them on 3. BUT! The reason you should do this is because you can organize stuff, AKA:
Row 1, solid
Row 2, water
ect...
So when putting in other ExGFX you won't run out of space.
Also, for different ExGFX, go 80, next one 81, and so on.
DON'T REPLACE EXGFX!
