Um. Why are all of the screenshots the same?
Hello there, here is my new blog. I will usually update it every day.
My Pokemon:

Party Image cause I feel lazy.
Not only are the screenshots all the same, but this hack in general looks a bit bad. The background palette clashes a bit with the foreground palette and what irks me the most is the way you've set up the ground - those dirt tiles are actually meant to be used to walk through ledges. It looks a bit odd when you set them like that.

The plot as well sounds a bit typical, but it's not as bad.
I was doing a koopa hack then it totallt failed on me, i hope this one is better
I just want to say DON'T make the fake ground = death. ESPECIALLY if there are coins leading to it. That's mean and unfair and - at least with me - would make the player instantly stop playing and find something else to do. There's no other way to say it... that's a bad idea. Sure you can have fake ground, but don't make it punishable by death. And sure you can have coins leading into a "trap" as long as it's not a death trap.

This all may be my opinion, but I'm suggesting you rethink the idea of difficulty here...

Okay, I'm going to point out a few things here about what you could fix.

1. There is cutoff on the chain fence by the green pipe. You might want to add a fence ledge there.

2.I'm assuming that the red water was supposed to be lava. You might want to make a seperate exgfx file that changes the water to lava, or change the gfx set.

3.The fake ground trap is not a good idea. People could mistake this and jump down there, causing frustration to the player. Maybe you could make a path down there that leads to an alternate, harder level.

4.Try to make the 3up moon well hidden and harder to get.

5.In screenshot 1, with the hill, you might want to replace those lines with dirt gfx.

6. You should get rid of that random edge inside of the dirt alltogather in screenshot 3. It looks like it serves no purpose and looks rather unappealing.

I'm not trying to say anything bad about this hack. I'm just offering friendly advice.
I could help in your hack if you want, I can do the following: I can make, and insert custom music, make and insert Custom graphics, insert custom sprites (not very good at ASM, I can do it but...) and custom blocks, and level design, so if you want any help, just pm me.

Personally, I think you could get somewhere with a playable Koopa character. :) However, I really do not have a great feeling about the recent screenshots presented due to the way most of the tiles have been used. There is room for improvement. =/

You have the wrong tile on that "side" cliff (the bottom-right one).

Otherwise this is looking pretty nice. Just get rid of that fake ground.

I thik your overworld needs more decorations like rocks and hills. I personaly dont care that the level tiles are shwoing , in my hacks they dont show at all...
