A SPLIT TIMELINE
You find some sticks and light the torch on fire. You throw the burning torch at the source of the RRRRRRRRRRRRR. It hits the ceiling and makes a large crack, then falls back to the ground. It lights the ground on fire. You SSSSSSSSSS back at the monster, but it seems to have no effect.
You throw a piece of the burning floor at the RRRRRRR. It seems to have no effect. You then jump into the pit and step on an invisible switch, and the whole room turns upside down! You seem to be the only one who isn't affected by the change of gravity. The RRRRRR seems to be falling upwards toward you, and it's getting exponentially louder.
