Nintendo Presents Logo Expansion

I downloaded the xkas patch that will make the intro logo bigger.
But how do I use it?
Here comes slippy!

1. Insert ExGFX FF into your ROM with Lunar Magic. (You can use another ExGFX file if you edit the patch.) The 64x64 logo should be placed at tiles 02-09, 12-19, 22-29, 32-39, 42-49, 52-59, 62-69 and 72-79.
2. Patch the .asm file to your ROM by using Xkas. Make sure that you set a correct freespace address!

That should do.
--------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
what's the freespace adress?
Here comes slippy!

It's the place in the ROM where your patch is stored. Most patches say, "change this to freespace" or something like that. You use Free Space Logger, and find an address. Convert it to SNES with Lunar Address, and put it in!
GOD! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU PEOPLE FORGETTING TO MENTION TO REMOVE THE COLON! THAT MUST BE THE CAUSE OF SO MANY PEOPLE INCORRECTLY PATCHING, YET I RARELY SEE IT MENTIONED IN POSTS! PLEASE, EVERYONE, NEVER AGAIN POST YET ANOTHER INSTRUCTIONAL TUTORIAL LEAVING OUT SUCH A VITAL YET ALWAYS IGNORED STEP!

what colon?
Here comes slippy!

When you convert an address with Lunar Address, you'll get a number like $13:8000. The ":" must be removed.

blah blah
You could've worded that nicer.

UltimateHacker, there is also a free space tutorial which tells you how to search for free space manually. It's handy sometimes. Download it here.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
