If you wan't to animate something that's a bit too far. It's like getting photoshop to draw a mustache on someones face. except with GIMP you pay with the download time. It works though, and It's fun too mess with.

There's plenty of free, crappy gif animators. You'll probably spend more time finding one that isn't shareware and doesn't suck than just downloading GIMP, though.
Nice job. I was already trying one for SMAS (actually SMB2 + SMB3 combined) but it got... on hold. >_> <_<
Good to see this came off the ground, though. But I'll probably not use it myself, I have nothing with YI.
-------------------- --------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
"Ulead GIF Animator 5" is the best GIF animator I used so far though it's shareware and you'd have to pay for it after a month unless you get the full version somewhere. ;P
Another not-so-advanced-but-still-good program would be "Beneton Movie GIF". It's freeware and has all important options to create simple animations.
Interesting how only a couple of bosses are used, and flightless goonies make it so high up.....

Pretty sure they are just called monkeys. Any walkthrough you read will call them monkeys. Not to mention in some of the jungle levels (world 3) they are referred to as monkeys in the level names.

I didn't include most bosses because they would have been to big (size-wise) and difficult to animate. Beides, I wanted to concentrate on the enemies.
The reason that the Goonies are at a rather high level is that I based an enemy's rank on its first appearance, and Goonies first appear in world 5 or so.
YAY! YOSHI ISLAND UH... ICONS ARE UP! THANK EVERYONE OR IF SOMEONE DID IT BY THIER SELVE... FOR MAKING THE YOSHI ISLAND ICONS! ))))!!!!!!!!
It's nice to see you're excited about the new rankset, but in the future, I'd appreciate it if you were able to post normally instead of all caps. Thanks.
On a slightly different note, I never remember Jean de Fillet being an enemy in YI. Then again, it's been forever since I've played that game.

I remember most of the enemies but then again, I haven't played in a while. I have long lost the SNES and the game but I at least have it on my computer. Perhaps I should go back in memory lane.
"Jean de Fillet" appeared once or twice in the pseudo-3D lava areas (6-4 seems to stick out in my mind here). Didn't know it had an official name though - I always just called it the "Jumping Skeleton Fish".
Hmm, it appears that some of the YI enemies/sprites didn't make it here, like the Wild Ptooie Plant and Dr. Freezegood, any reason why they didn't make the cut? I'm slightly curious.
