what version of xkas is it anyway? i cant catagorize them if that one is different yet still labeled xkas.
I already write my test, but i can't insert anyway, how to do it?

okay ive just tried using this and its all good but i dont get how im supposed to get my cutscene to show. it will only show the ones that came with it. (i already specified the .txt file in the list.txt in the bin folder)

Practically yes... that is, if you have an EXE compiled in Perl with required libraries, and if the program's sole purpose is to open .pl files.


I just have one question. How do you make your cutscene NOT loop? I put [exit=xx] and it STILL LOOPS! How can you make it not loop?

The [end=xx]is where you put sgoal, goal, exit or the screen number of where you go to next. So Put a screen exit. Ex: [end=00] Put the screen exit to 00.

However, I've got a problem, when I insert the sprites, I get a messade saying xkas found a error with the main sprite. This is what it says in the temp.log:

Yes, I replaced the version of xkas and all the other details but it won't work, please help me.
Make sure to put them in the same folder as Sprite Tool itself.


 
Its definetly in the same folder as sprite tool.
I had that problem too.

But I just used Xkas GUI instead of the normal Xkas.
That worked.

Since there was a problem with the incbin command or so...

Whoops, I misunderstood what WYE said. Its fixed now.

Edit: Different problem, when I set a level to teleport to, it always teleports me to level 0. I'm not sure why.

In [end=00] you don't put a level number, you put a screen number, and it will activate the screen exit of that screen.

Edit: I hate edits, anyways I've got two more questions. How do I change or ger rid of the colour gradient in the cutscene shown below?:

and when I try making one for level C5, when I exit it, it takes me to some random area on the main map of the overworld. How could I fix this?
1. Just change the BG colour of that level.
2. Well, I guess you could just teleport to another sublevel that makes the intro message appear.
Neither have worked unfortunately. I've still got the same problems.

There's no point in stickying threads here since you just gotta search a few pages. I can't remember the exact reason but I know one of the mods said that there's no reason to sticky threads here though.
